Suddenly, Ajax started waving hand signs, and then a brown bowl that contained water appeared in front of them. Hudson stepped backward in shock as he saw the bowl. He didn’t expect a bowl of water to appear out of thin air just like that."What are we going to do with this?" Hudson asked, raising a curious eyebrow."This is going to be the first magic I am going to teach you. I want you to turn this ordinary water into very hot boiling water and wave it around after that," Ajax responded coldly, staring at the bowl of water."Huh?" Hudson mumbled as he raised his eyebrows in disbelief. He couldn’t comprehend how he was supposed to turn the water into boiling water."Yes, you are going to do it. I will show you the hand signs you are going to wave and how you are going to wave the water after that. First, I will teach you by showing you a demonstration. Make sure you look at what I am doing slowly and follow my movements," Ajax said as he shifted his focus over to the bowl of water.

*******The following morning,Hudson was walking down the road with one hand on the handle of his backpack. After waking up, he swiftly got ready and left the motel. "Time to go and find Ajax; if I am going to be learning magic and going on missions relating to magic, I will have to enroll in the magical academy," he mumbled to himself. *** Hudson didn’t leave the motel with his map, as he was now familiar with the location where the academy was located. Hudson arrived in front of El Chante de Magnitoz. He looked at the tall building. After that, he shifted his gaze over to the black card and remembered that Ajax told him to rub the card on his forehead before he would appear. Hudson rubbed the card on his forehead. I will just have to wait now; I have done what he had asked me to do, he thought. After a few moments, Hudson felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to look at Agatos and Ajax and did a half-bow.Ajax started applauding him, while Agatos was staring at Hudson with a pale, emotionless face. Agatos shifted his gaze over to a wooden board that was in his hands and ticked off the first test on it."You did good; you passed the test; now let’s move on to the second test," Agatos said in a rumbling tone, staring at Hudson."The second test is for a student in the academy to vouch for you; do you have any friends in that academy that can vouch for you?" ***After showing Hudson around the academy, Ajax took him over to his office as they got in. Hudson noticed that the office was filled with a lot of strange things that looked like magical instruments.
