I waved at Chase when I saw him outside the classroom. We haven't talked much, ever since we got back together but I have been feeling sick too. I just didn't want to let the sickness get to me. This morning, I vomited before coming to school. Beauty wasn't aware. I have never felt this way before except for the time when I was trying to learn how to control my fangs and powers. This time, I wasn't going to treat whatever was wrong with me. I was going to prepare for the war first then my body later.

"Hey, babe." Chase placed a kiss on my cheeks. "You want to join me for a ride later?" he asked and I nodded. "Just like that? No excuses or girls thing?"

"There is a girls thing tonight but I felt like I haven't been spending much time with you." I took his hands in mine. "Let's go for that ride but we have to be back before seven. Okay?"

He sighed. "It would have been nicer if the sun appeared at least once. I would have loved to have a personal picture with you."
