I looked at Chase and held onto him. Maybe this is the right time to tell him about his parent. He needed to know his parent were found.

"I have something to say and you have to listen to me. Okay?"

"What Is it?"

I swallowed first. Didn't know how to bring the word out of my mouth. "I found your parent," I said after a few. He had that expression on his face. The ones that don't know how to react to things. "Don't worry they are safe."

He scoffed. "When can I see them?" he asked.

"Well, that I the problem. You can't."

"Why not?" he asked.

"Well. not yet. Until I talk to them first. Your mom knows me and you just can't show up as a dead son. She thought you died remember? She might faint... I mean, would faint if you just appeared all of a sudden. Let me handle this Chase and let me tell her everything."

He nodded. "You are right. You should do that. I just hope all this will pass."

"It will pass. That I know of." I gave him a warm smile.

"I think we should start going."

"Why?"
