The inside of Jerethal’s Leatherworks had a surprisingly warm atmosphere with its worn hardwood flooring, racks displaying various styles of leather armor, and pleasant lighting shining from a few sun shards embedded in the ceiling.

A tall, lean human who I assumed to be the owner of the shop hunched over a sturdy-looking wood counter at the far end of the store. He muttered darkly as he scribbled something in a ledger, but with the chime of the bell above the door as I pushed it open, his sharp green eyes flicked towards the warden and I as we stepped inside.

“Welcome,” he grumbled through a scowl before returning his focus to his battle with the ledger. “Feel free to look about…”
