67. Spearward Rune
Over the next few minutes, the shopkeeper disappeared three times through the door behind his counter, returning each time with a different set of leather armor and setting their chest piece atop the counter. All three were made from the same smokey gray hide and lightweight style.

“These three were the only ones I had on hand that’d fit someone your size,” the shopkeeper said, eyeing me up and down from across the counter. “Well, maybe with some minor adjustments.” Then, seeming to lose interest in me, his attention moved to the warden. “Now, each of these has a different rune etched in the lining to keep out of sight from prying eyes…” He then thumped the armor one after another as he continued. “This one’s got a Spearward rune. This one a Breezewalker rune. And this one a Spiritwell rune.”

“We’ll take the one with the Spearward rune,” the warden said as soon as the shopkeeper finished speaking.
