Chapter 19

Todd woke up with quite the startle, I suppose my panicked state did not help in the slightest.  I tugged on his arm with a franticness that would scare the living daylights out of any unsuspecting person.  No surprise to me, Todd was yet again covered in a variety of sugary remnants and slathered in mucus mixed drool.  His eyes were glazed over just like the pack of half-eaten donuts in the passenger seat.  Once he realized I was not a goblin that was going to rip his heart out while it was still beating, he reverted back to the calm.and collected Todd of old.

I said, "I just left school, Mrs. Tannell is not there.  We have a substitute.  She hasn't missed a day of school in over a decade."
