The screaming from outside subsided suddenly, as if the person that was screaming had passed out or flat out vanished from the face of the Earth. A dragging sound could be heard getting louder and louder as time passed. The large front door burst open, covering the area with a heavy calming moonlight but that light failed to ease our nerves because of how intense and frightening the screaming from outside was.
I had only ever heard a scream like that before once in my lifetime and it was from a small woman on the side of the road when we went on vacation as a family. We saw her pulled to the left on the highway which was almost a certain death sentence. My father pulled over in front of her and went to see if he could help her. She said the engine was acting funny and was about to pop the hood. When she did, my father discovered a tattered mess of an animal splattered throughout the engine bay. Turns out, it was her childhood cat tha
Thank you all for continuing this journey with me. The story will be growing from 5/25-6/1. Chapter 59 will be released on 6/1/21. Prepare yourselves.
The portal began to hiss and rumble so loudly that it felt as if the devil himself were coming through. Todd was still working away, delicately dissecting the dead demon while Nurse Helen took the yellow orb that we obtained from the murdered woman from Mrs. Tannell. Mrs. Tannell removed her metallic box that somehow used the orbs' energy to give her spiritual power and set that beside Jennifer. Nurse Helen grabbed the metallic box, opened it and added the yellow orb to the box. My mind instantly questioned why she had done that until she pushed a hidden button on the side and two long clear holes slithered out from either side of the metallic box. These hoses would act as IVs for Jennifer, installing the power from the yellow orb into her body and hopefully bringing her back to the land of the living. We desperately needed this to work as the portal was certainly transporting something large from hell right to our feet. I sa
Jennifer finally came back to us, slow and sluggish, but she was back and aware of all that had happened. Sarah Macly, our telekinetic mastermind and my childhood enemy, was unharmed by my actions and the actions of the wickedly huge, winged demon. Mrs. Tannell was not concerned with what we thought of her, at least that is what her face said, and delighted in the fact that we had been pressed against the wall and fought our way back using strategy and tactics. She said, "That was an impressive display of teamwork folks. There are always going to be a few areas we can improve upon, no matter what the circumstances are but overall, we did great." I suppose she caught me rolling my tired eyes when she spoke because I became the center of her attention. She had done something very wrong but for a good reason, that did not make it right in any way, shape, or form. The Wall would not survive any sort of negative actions, espe
The fall through the portal was seemingly instantaneous and nonstop at the same time. I know that makes no sense but that is just how it felt to me. I knew I was doomed as soon as I fell into the portal to hell, but I was going to make sure that the devil got to know my face, that was for damn sure. I can tell you one thing that may help you in the future if you are ever falling into a portal to hell, there are a ton of dead babies. All of which ate in varying forms of decomposition. My eyes could not shield my mind from the sights of all the dead babies. The fall was nonstop, and it felt as if I were staring through water to see all the terrifying sights on my way down. When you think of hell, we tend to think of red, orange, fire, and pain. So far, I had yet to land, but all I saw was blue and dead babies with mortified looks on all their undeveloped faces. Having never had a baby or been pregnant, hell, I had n
With heavy eyes, I realized I was being pulled by a chain that was connected to a set of shackles with spikes on them that had been wrapped around my wrists. Thiswas less than pleasurable but the onset of the extreme pain seemed to pass as quickly as it had come, same with my consciousness. The worst part was the smell, the two grunts clearly could not control their bowels, like a horse walking in a parade, they just dropped huge piles of feces on the ground and subsequently dragged me through it. That was the straw that broke the poor camel's back. My jeans were now the shade of dark brown and you could literally see the odor vapors wafting off of them. The demon dressed as royalty was walking behind me and would growl every time one of the grunt demons released its stomach contents into his pathway. The joke was on you special looking demon guy. The demons dragging me never turned around, they never acknowledged me and always kept
Laying outside the open double doors that had just ejected some poor person in the air split in two pieces, my eyes desperately danced from side to side trying to capture a glimpse of Lucifer in the flesh. The grunt demons that dragged me to this location diverted their eyes and knelt down on one knee. This was definitely the right place, well, the wrong place for me as I did not want the devil to see how many pieces he could split me into. The air leaving the room was thick and sharp, it was hard to inhale the almost visible air because it seemed to contain more than just gasses. Each breath inflicted a barrage of painful stabs upon my nostrils all the way down to where my esophagus met my lungs deep inside my chest cavity. Tears came to my wide-open eyes as the pain ate at me from the inside. The decorated demon was still behind me standing tall with his head raised in the air, it seemed he was not afraid of the big boss but inst
The height boosted secretary with the legs that seemed to run on for days disregarded the two grunt demons and had the decorated demon drag me into her office since we were next in line to meet whoever these filth beings dragged me to meet. A couple of tugs to my braces moved me into the room and also stripped away whatever flesh was left on my wrists. I had been bleeding for hours now and the pain was becoming more of an annoyance than a truly excruciating experience. She said, "Just have a seat right here, he's just finishing up a phone call and will be ready to see you and your little bleeding friend momentarily." A very light music played in the room as we waited, my face squished down onto the emerald tile and the decorated demon sitting crossed legged on the couch direct beside me. My pendant had begun to hum when we entered the room but that was not an uncommon occurrence. I was going to need more help than a barely
Hanging in the air by my wrists and ankles, the decorated demon waited for the black obsidian door to open so that we may enter. The spikes in my wrists and ankles were causing a bit of discomfort but staring at the secretary orphan killer was worse than anything I could feel at the moment. Just imagining a human being murdering eighty-four helpless children one by one turned my stomach and made me physically ill as I vomited something putrid yellow all over the green, emerald floor. Just to reinforce that she was an absolutely horrible person, the orphan killer threw me a full smile, fangs and all, and added a wink as the cherry on top. If I survived this trip to hell, she was going to the top of my list, she would feel the wrath of my hand before it was all said and done. I was barely able to move my hands or fingers, but I did manage a nice double middle finger just to piss her
The grown-up demon Jackson had made the mistake of releasing me from the spiked braces, my ankles and wrists were free, well, my one ankle. The remnant of my left leg had been thrown to the black obsidian office door and rested in all its bloodless glory. I had no idea that body parts shriveled up and began to decay almost immediately after being removed from its host's blood flow. When Jackson was born, I had grown excessively curious about what our lives would hold for us in the future. He was such a helpless and fussy little baby that it was hard for me to rationalize him growing up into an adult and becoming a full-fledged member of society with his own way of life and making grownup decisions. I remember one time, it was his birthday, he was turning five. Jackson desperately wanted to open his colorfully decorated presents and move on with the party so he could continue to have fun and hold the day as his day for a
