227. Aarav and Galen vs Shadowclaw

The jet landed smoothly on the outskirts of the ruined area of the city, where the smell of smoke and the sound of distant cries filled the air.

Aarav and Bishop Dominic stepped out, carrying their medical bags. The devastation was even more overwhelming on the ground. Buildings lay in ruins, and fires burned in the distance.

“This... total destruction...!” Bishop Dominic said, following Aarav.

The air was thick with dust and debris.

Aarav led the way through the rubble, his eyes searching for survivors. They reached a clearing where several knights lay motionless, their armor cracked and bloodied.

“He is barely holding on...!” Aarav muttered as he knelt beside the first knight, a young man barely out of his teens, and quickly assessed his injuries.

“At least he’s still alive,” Aarav said, relief evident in his voice. “Bishop Dominic, let’s start with him.”

Bishop Dominic nodded and began tending to the knight’s wounds with practiced efficiency.
