......

"Huh, Ahhhh...whaAhhh...!" Aarav Veridian, who was falling from a cliff, suddenly woke up, feeling the rush of wind on his face. He realized he was plummeting and screamed in fear.

"Somebody...yyyy...hhhhelp...meeeee...!" He cried out, desperate as the ground approached slowly.

"Ahhhhh....!" Just as he was about to hit the ground, he closed his eyes, but he didn't feel the impact.

"Huh...!" He opened his eyes and found himself in an endless, white expanse. He sat there, feeling confused and bewildered.

"Siiiing...!" Suddenly, a bright light appeared in front of him, and he saw a human-like figure, although the light made it hard to see their features.

He felt a stinging sensation and then lost consciousness. When he woke up, the figure was still there.

Then he heard the words from the white figure.

"Congratulations, my Heir," the mysterious figure declared, "you have proven your worth, and now you are the chosen Heir of Elandor, the God of Healing and Medicine!"

In the next moment, he found himself in excruciating pain, hanging on the edge of a hill.

The figure's words barely registered, and Aarav felt like he was forgetting something important.

But he couldn't remember what it was.

Suddenly, unknown information flooded his brain, making him feel like his brain was having a seizure.

"Ahhhhhh...huff f...huff f!" He screamed for a while. Before he could make sense of it all, he blinked, and the pain was gone.

"I'm alright. My wounds, hahah, they're gone... They've really disappeared!" He looked at his body and laughed, seeing that the wounds had vanished, replaced by newfound strength.

He also noticed a gemstone amulet hanging around his neck.

"Isn't this the amulet my grandfather gave me when I was little? How did it end up around my neck?" Aarav was confused as he caressed it with his hand.

He gasped as the amulet shone, and arrogant words echoed in his mind. He couldn't help but say them out loud.

"In the realm of healing, I am the ultimate arbiter of life and death. As Elandor's heir, I command over ailments and the frailty of life. I am the embodiment of healing's power and authority."

Because of the pain and the bewildering experience, he forgot why he had fallen from the cliff in the first place.

The rage bubbling inside him exploded as he shouted angrily towards the sky.

"I won't let you get away with this. I'll have my revenge for all the pain you caused me. I'll show those Rossi family bastards who mocked me for being poor and treated me like a live-in servant. You'll regret ever looking down on me. I'm a god's heir, and you will pay for every bit of suffering you put me through."

......

(Aarav Veridian's POV)

"Huff...huff...!" I stood there, catching my breath after releasing all the pent-up rage, unsure if what I experienced was real or a trick of my mind.

"Ring...Ring...!" My phone interrupted the heavy silence, and I hurriedly answered, seeing it was my sister's doctor.

"Yes, Doctor!" I responded anxiously.

"Mr. Veridian, I'm sorry to inform you that your sister has just taken a turn for the worse. Please come as soon as possible to be with her during her critical condition," the doctor conveyed before abruptly ending the call.

"No...no way, this can't be happening. My sister can't leave me. I won't allow it!" Frozen for a moment, I muttered and imagined all sorts of terrible scenarios.

Rushing to the hospital, I realized that if the knowledge in my head was real, I could save my sister's life.

Consumed by confusion and worry, I ran, covering dozens of kilometers in just half an hour, wiping sweat from my forehead.

Arriving at the hospital, I headed straight to my sister's ward.

"Sister...sister, are you okay?" I cradled her in my arms, checking her pulse, only to find she was in a deep coma.

"Please, whoever you are, please help!" I muttered, silently praying to the mysterious white figure. Placing my hand on her forehead, I closed my eyes.

The gemstone amulet around my neck began to shine brightly, and with one thought in my mind, 'Please cure my sister, please heal my sister,' I kept repeating those words. When I opened my eyes, the amulet still radiated with brightness.

"Huh, when did this start to shine?" I wondered, perplexed by the amulet's glow.

"What...wh-what is this...!" Suddenly, a holographic screen appeared in front of my eyes.

Confused and seeking an explanation, the sight of my sister stirring brought me back to the urgent reality.

"B-Brother... It's really you... B-Brother... Waaaa!" I held my sister's hand as she looked at me, relieved and tears welled up in her eyes.

"It's okay, I'm here, you'll be fine!" Reassuring my sister, I held her close as she sobbed in my arms, attempting to comfort and calm her down.

Then, I returned my focus to my sister, my hand on her forehead.

This time, I kept my eyes open, and I noticed my amulet shining once more before the holographic screen appeared in front of my eyes.

I concentrated on it, curious to see what it was trying to show me.

'Tetralogy of Fallot, this...!' Seeing the details displayed on the hologram convinced me that this was a real thing.

What I experienced was real, and the divine figure of the god was also real. This meant I could save my sister.

"You'll be alright, sister," I muttered, attempting to use my newfound divine power. Memories in my brain showed me how to use it.
