Small and generous swordsman

"Ladies and gentlemen, please be prepared because the cultivation test will be conducted sequentially according to the queue number on your respective cards."

"All participants are required to follow the directions of the cultivator, and the organizers hope that there will be no disturbances at all!"

Fen Lian's heart was racing as she heard the announcement about the cultivation test. Fen Lian, who had been standing still while staring straight ahead, was secretly thinking of a thousand ways to pass the cultivation test after never succeeding for so long. Moreover, seeing this closed room like a sea of people made his concentration even worse. What he remembered often changed; sometimes he remembered, sometimes he didn't remember. It made him feel even more scared.

One by one, the participants were called to take the cultivation test. Fen Lian couldn't stop staring at those who were doing the test intently, as a picture for herself later when doing the test. But in reality, each sect had its own methods, and what they did was not necessarily the same as what she had learned before. It can be seen from the way it is already much different. He cannot imitate what they do because it is useless if he can imitate but does not understand the same.

Fen Lian got up from her seat and lined up with a group of warriors. She looked at the warriors lined up in front of her one by one; they seemed to be around twenty years old. Fen Lian saw them as ordinary teenagers in general; they had an average cultivation level for first bone placement.

But she widened her eyes when she caught sight of one little boy who had amazed her earlier. Apparently, the great little boy was in the same group as her. Fen Lian didn't know what was wrong with him, but every time she saw him, she felt calm. His pure white face calmed anyone who looked at him, plus the body shape that had been formed since childhood looked very strong. This little boy named Xiao looked very strong and brave, like a mentally mature teenager. In contrast to himself, who is still often hesitant and afraid, and certainly sometimes feels insecure about all the knowledge he has learned. His teacher's uncle often told him that to be a true warrior, you must be brave and fearless in everything. Facing obstacles, even if it costs blood and sacrifices lives, will not be a problem as long as our goals are achieved.

Fen Lin was just about to engage Xiao in a conversation, but the line in front of her had already moved forward, which meant that it would soon be her turn to take the test.

Exactly twenty minutes passed, and the warrior who was doing the test in front of her had already finished. It made Fen Lian feel nervous because of the short time given to do the test. Fen Lian immediately went into the cultivation room in private. Fen Lian thought that the cultivator was the only person she would be dealing with, but it turned out that there were four small children who were famous for their prowess who were also gathered with the cultivator to assist in this activity.

When she first entered this room, Fen Lian already felt that something was off. She didn't know in what way. The four children's gazes seemed to dislike her, so it was no wonder that Fen Lian felt a little awkward and uncomfortable. But she had to remain professional about this activity because her main goal in cultivating it was the success she would later show to her uncle and teacher. As much as possible, she brushed off this uncomfortable feeling and replaced it with a feeling of confidence to do the test well and correctly.

"Fen Lian!"

Fen Lian bowed her body while clenching her hands in front of her chest. "Yes teacher."

"Nice name; have you cultivated before?" He asked.

Fen Lian nodded. "I've tried it before," Fen Lian replied briefly without wanting to explain anything because she remembered her teacher's uncle's message to stay humble and not easily reveal successes or failures in life. Let others find out for themselves, because not everyone can accept us well.

The cultivator nodded in understanding. "Okay, now let's start cultivating right away."

"If you've done it before, then you already know what to do without me directing you. Remember, Fen Lian, I never help anyone in cultivation; I only direct those who can't or haven't done it before. Since you can do it, I'll let you do it on your own. Go for it!" He pleaded again.

Fen Lian nodded. Slowly she began to neutralize her heartbeat. Cultivation requires a calm heart and mind; we must not panic or be nervous. If we feel uncomfortable, we must neutralize the uncomfortable feelings as much as possible until we are calm. Only then can we cultivate properly. Fen Lian sat down according to the cultivation requirements, doing the breathing she had learned to do to awaken the Chi energy in the human body. At first, Fen Lian was still nervous, so her calmness was a little disturbed. But on this second try, Fen Lian did her best to cultivate properly.

But a few seconds after she felt the energy gathering, suddenly the cultivator stopped this activity.

"Enough!"

Fen Lian immediately frowned. "I haven't finished yet; why stop me?" She asked, confused.

The four little kids laughed out loud at the question that came out of Fen Lian's lips. For a few seconds after they were satisfied laughing at Fen Lian, they returned to their normal behavior.

"Where are you from? I've never met you if you're from here," she asked.

"I'm from Jiangnan."

"How many times have you cultivated?" He asked again.

Fen Lian was suddenly nervous; she was already feeling bad about this question. She immediately shook her head lightly.

"I don't know; what is it?" Fen Lian asked.

The little boy frowned. "You're asking? You failed!" He replied firmly.

Suddenly, it made Fen Lian glare. "Failed? I haven't even done it yet," she replied.

"Stupid teenager, you can't cultivate! You failed because your cultivation ability is so poor; you can't manage Qi energy. You'd better go back to practicing with children. An adult is inferior to a baby who can just do martial arts," he sarcastically said.

Fen Lian clenched her fists; she couldn't accept being insulted in front of so many people like this. It was a very humiliating thing.

"Watch what you say, little boy! I know you're great, but can't you be polite to someone older than you? Isn't it necessary to have a good attitude to be a cultivator or a warrior?"

The little boy clucked. "Tsk! I don't care at all. The only people I respect are those who are far greater than me; if there are useless people like you, then I consider them trash to be stepped on and not to be respected!" He said.

"You-"

Fen Lian was just about to throw a punch, but she immediately canceled it because someone was holding her hand from behind.

"That's enough! Aren't civilized and intelligent people not easily angered? If you don't feel trashy, then don't retaliate!" Xiao said from behind her.

Deg.

"Xiao!" muttered Fen Lian.
