The Untold Truth

Venturo was preparing to go to the city when a tall, black haired, bearded guy who was wearing a bandana on his head, came to him with a grin on his face. "Hey, hey, hey! Where are you going wearing this bad boy outfit?". He chuckled.

Venturo was wearing a simple outfit, a t-shirt and pants but they seemed awful to the guy because he always dressed up like a vampire in the house, wearing old fashioned clothes.

"Going out?". He asked.

Venturo wore his socks hurriedly. "I'm going to the city".

"For what?". He asked again.

"Why on earth do you ask so many questions, Adam?". Venturo said.

"Uncle Hendrick called me back to New York when I was enjoying the best days of my life in Vegas.. reasons? unknown!". He replied, placing his hands on his hips.

"Oh? You don't know yet". Venturo stood up. "So, we have a cousin, Adam".

"A cousin? I don't know what you're talking about. Uncle Jonas had three children and it's only you from Uncle Vladimir and Aunt Abigail ran away so, apparently, Uncle Hendrick too didn't had children.. who else do we have in our squad?". Adam asked. He was Venturo's cousin and Brett's son.

"Rhea, Uncle Hendrick's daughter". Venturo responded as he chewed his inner cheek.

"HUH? Wait, she-, where did..". Adam stuttered in surprise and then took a long breath. "Okay.. WHAT?".

"I'll explain everything on the way, but we have to go to the city to find Aunt Abigail and ask her to tell us about Rhea". Venturo took his bag and went towards the door. "Uncle Hendrick called you so that you can assist me".

"Wow! It's an adventure then!". Adam exclaimed and followed him.

"Guess what?". Amy stood in front of Rosalie who was sitting on the couch, looking up at her with a smile. Amy was so excited about something.

"You busted another gangster?". Rosalie smiled.

"Ugh.. no! You might be a VERY good doctor but.. your guessing skills are zero. That means, we have to work on them'. Amy sat next to her.

"Spill the beans, Amy". Rosalie was tired and she didn't wanted to lose any of energy, secondly, she was devastated by the fact that Kian and Vivian were together.

"David proposed to me, I'M GETTING MARRIED, ROSALIE!". Amy said excitingly.

"What!?". The response was out of nowhere, Rosalie wasn't expecting this. "Wow! He finally asked".

"Yeah! It took him a lot of courage, though". Amy nodded.

"Speaking of courage, your boyfriend had PLENTY of courage.. for all the nights you spent together, I was right in the next room! It's not like you people had to use a whole dec system to let me get an idea of what you were doing, He was damn loud". Rosalie chuckled.

"Aww! I'm sorry, Roomie". Amy hugged her lovingly.

"I'm so happy for you, Amy". Rosalie hugged her back. "And sad".

"Sad?". Amy pulled back.

"I would've to find a new roommate". She shrugged.

"Oh yeah! I'm moving in with him..". Amy scratched her neck. "But I won't forget the bond we had, Rosalie.. And keep the doors opened for me always, who knows what happens when".

"Okay". Rosalie stood up. "I'm gonna be the best bridesmaid ever!".

"Yes! I wanted to ask that.. I wasn't sure you'll agree". Amy said, jumping up.

"Anything for you, Roomie". Rosalie smiled and looked down at the ground awkwardly.

"Rosalie? What's up?". Amy sensed her sadness.

"Nothing". Rosalie looked up.

"No, something's wrong". Amy grabbed her by her shoulders and forced her to sit back on the couch. "Is everything alright?".

"Umm, I just found out that Kian and Vivian are together". Rosalie was trembling.

"Oh? I'm so sorry to hear that, Rose". Amy squeezed her hand.

"I didn't knew they were together and none of them ever told me, I think we weren't good friends". Rosalie sank into the couch.

"Well, you too never told about your crush on Kian to Vivian". Amy shrugged.

"Yeah, I'm the one who's wrong".

"What? Oh My God, That wasn't what I meant". Amy cupped her cheeks.

"I should better get going to the hospital". Rosalie stood up.

"But I thought we can spend the day together". Amy stood up behind her.

"Maybe some other day". Rosalie gave her a weak smile and went out of the apartment.

"So, New York is a big city you know.. there will be a thousand of Abigails here". Adam looked around in the crowded street where they stood.

"Abigail Sinclair is her full name". Venturo replied.

"Okay". Adam pursed his lips. "I still don't know how we're gonna do it".

"For God's sake you fool.. use those detective skills of yours which we learnt in the training". Venturo was annoyed by him.

"Oh? So it's a private case we FBI agents have to solve, then". Adam nodded.

"Thank goodness you got it". Venturo said.

"Well, I met a girl in Vegas, she told me that being an FBI agent is hot". Adam told.

"Hmm". Venturo just gave a nod as he looked at an address his Mother scribbled on a paper and handed it over to him before he left.

"Do you hear me, Venturo?". Adam asked.

"Ugh.. go and make an announcement standing in the middle of the crowd telling everyone that we're from FBI". Hideo replied.

"Ooh, you're angry". Adam stepped away.

"I'm.. not". Venturo smiled and looked at his cousin. "You ask too many questions, that's it! And we really have to find Aunt Abigail and Rhea before Marius does".

"So, are we trying to find them to protect them or we are going to use her too?". Adam asked.

"First, we'll protect her and then, if necessary, we will use her". Venturo said.

"What do you have in mind?".

"Mother gave me this address of a High School where Aunt Abigail worked. We can go there and search for her. Even if she doesn't works there anymore, we would atleast get a phone number or her address!". Venturo responded.

"Okay, I get it all now.. no more stupid questions, WORK!". Adam said.

"Great, Let's go". Venturo started walking through the crowd.

Rosalie entered the hospital, thousands of thoughts running in her mind. "Well, I got rid of that stupid crush!".

"Rosalie!". Vivian called her from a corner.

She turned to her and smiled. "Hey!".

"What was with Amy?". Vivian asked her.

"Amy? Oh yeah! She's getting married soon". Rosalie told.

"Wow! Lucky girl". Vivian smiled. "Congratulate her on my behalf".

"Sure". Rosalie turned to go but Vivian stopped her again.

"What's with the rude attitude? You okay?". She grabbed her wrist.

"Rude? I'm not rude!".

"You're not?".

"Not at all!". Rosalie chuckled and pulled her hand away.

"Hey, Rose". Benji interrupted them. He smiled at her and walked closer.

"What does HE want?". Vivian gritted her teeth.

"Hey, Benji!". Rosalie greeted him.

"I wanted to talk to you, about something". He said.

"Sure, go ahead". Rosalie stood attentively.

"I...". He looked at Vivian who was staring at her.

"I was talking to the Receptionist!". Vivian turned around and pretended she wasn't listening as she leaned on the Reception counter.

"So?". Rosalie said.

"I was wondering if you.. If you would like to go on a.. DATE with me, tonight". Benji smiled sheepishly.

Vivian's eyes popped out as she heard.

Rosalie was taken aback by what he said but she tried to act normal. "M-me?".

"Yeah, you". Benji looked expectantly in her eyes. "Look, I know this is out of nowhere but It's just a date! And you know quite well that I was into you since college".

"I.. know but I thought you didn't had those thoughts anymore". Rosalie looked at the ground.

"I cannot get you out of my system.. It took me a lot of courage to say it.. FINALLY". Benji replied.

Rosalie sighed and turned to look at Vivian who was still pretending. She turned to Benji again. "I'm in".

At first, Vivian was shocked at Benji's invitation and now, she was more shocked at Rosalie's answer.

"You.. really?". Benji's excitement was clearly visible..

"I mean, I cannot turn you down.. and you're the most handsome doctor in the hospital!". Rosalie chuckled.

"Thank you.. I'll text you the address". Benji said.

"Sure". Rosalie smiled at him.

As he left, Vivian turned to her. "You agreed to go on a date with .. HIM? Do you know how much Kian hates him?". Vivian said. "And why would you date him when you can date--".

"Stop it, Vivian. I am fed up of staying single. Maybe this could change my loveless life! And Kian hates him.. not me! To me, he's the most humble person on the earth". Rosalie rolled her eyes.

"But--".

She interrupted Vivian again. "It's my life, Vivi.. don't worry about me. Live yours". She said and left.

Vivian balled her fists and watched her go.

"Well that was easy, right?". Adam said as the both of them exited the school.

"Hmm". Venturo looked at Abigail's address which The school principal gave to him. "Thank God the school was still open".

"Let's go, then! We're one step away". Adam spoke.

"Sure". Venturo put the paper in his pocket and walked with him down the street.

In the evening, Rosalie stood in front of her closet, searching for a dress to wear.

Her phone rang. She picked it up. "Hey, Benji".

"Hello! Just wanted to know whether you were still in". Benji said.

"Oh yes, I AM!". Rosalie chuckled. "I was just picking a dress. I don't know what to wear. It's the first time I'm going out with a guy!".

"Wear anything you like. Even if you wear scrubs, I'll be okay with it". Benji replied.

"Haha! Stop it". Rosalie giggled.

"Seriously! Just don't worry too much.. wear anything you like".

"Okay, I'll call you when I'm ready, bye!". Rosalie said.

"Bye". Benji replied and hung the call up.

"Seriously, Rosalie?". Amy came in with a cup of coffee in her hand.

Rosalie sighed and turned to her. "Yes! I want to forget about Kian and move on".

"But do you have anything for Benji in your heart?". Amy asked.

"Yes! I care about him and that care will soon develop into something else". Rosalie cracked her knuckles looking at the ground.

"Fine, I'm with you no matter what you decide". Amy smiled.

"Thank you". Rosalie grinned and turned to the closet when her phone rang again.

This time, It was Vivian.

She picked up the call. "Hey, Vivi".

"Hi, Rose.. are you going on the date?". Vivian sounded exhausted.

"Yeah, I'm getting ready". Rosalie replied.

"That's not a good idea, I swear". Vivian said.

"It's not your headache, Vivi... I really want to do this". Rosalie said.

"And what about our night at Kian's? He asked us first!". Vivian spoke.

"He can wait". Rosalie responded.

"What? You never said that before. I sensed a change in your attitude this Morning".

"I was just feeling bad about what Mommy and Daddy did.. see you tomorrow, Vivi. I have to go". Rosalie hung the call up and took a deep breath.

"Go get ready, you're wasting your time". Amy said.

Rosalie nodded at her and took out a dress.
