Chapter 10: Lost

This time Charun tries to be brave. He didn't leave the room because of the fear he had at the moment.

“Charun calm down. You have to get used to this," said Charun calming himself.

Charun stopped studying and started to close his eyes. He can no longer focus. Therefore, he decided to sleep.

This morning, Charun is not going anywhere. He wanted to enjoy his day off to the best of his ability.

He refreshed his body by taking a shower this morning, of course with his favorite cherry scented soap.

After bathing, he looked in the mirror to see his shoulders were heavy from yesterday.

"Aaaah! Please!!!” shouted Charun.

Hearing Charun's screams, his nanny rushed over to him.

Charun's nanny came back to Charun's house this morning. Charun didn't know his arrival because Charun was taking a shower this morning.

"Why Charun, what's wrong?" asked caretaker Charun with a worried look on his face.

Seeing his nanny already at his house also scared Charun. She was afraid that it wasn't her real nanny, but a person disguised as Charun's nanny.

On the other hand, Charun's nanny is very worried about Charun's state. He also feels guilty for having left Charun for a few days due to other matters.

"Who are you?" said Charun who moved away from his nanny.

"I'm your nanny Charun, what's wrong with you?" asked the nanny with an increasingly worried look on her face.

After staring at her nanny for a while, she began to believe that it was indeed her nanny.

"Auntie!" said Charun who immediately hugged his nanny.

Charun just hugged his nanny tightly without giving any details.

The nanny was getting more and more clueless with the screams of the Charun earlier. He just hugged Charun to get rid of the fear that was in the little boy.

Charun's nanny asks about Charun's condition and what happened to him, but Charun only replies that he is fine. He also explained that he screamed because he saw a mouse passing in front of his mirror

Charun's nanny believes him. In fact, he was also looking for the “rat” that Charun said earlier.

"Mr. Hermes, answer my phone, sir," said Charun, who tried to call Hermes.

Charun was very scared right now, but he didn't tell anyone, including his nanny, what he had seen.

Hermes didn't answer the call from Charun, even though Charun had called him several times.

Of course Hermes didn't answer the phone because Hermes is currently having business with Hades and Thanatos. They were meeting to discuss their duties. Another reason is because it is a holiday so Hermes does not teach at his school. Therefore, he was able to spend a long time with his friends.

"Why is Mr. Hermes not answering my phone, what should I do now." said Charun.

Charun is very confused right now. he was very afraid of what he saw in the mirror earlier. In fact, he didn't even dare to look in the mirror anymore. His fear prevented him from being alone in the room. In the end, she always followed wherever her nanny went.

On the other hand, hermes is with hades and thanatos. They were checking on one of the failed thanatos tasks.

That morning thanatos carried out his duty to take the life of a woman who had an accident on the road. At that moment the woman was seriously injured and her breath was also very weak. Finally thanatos took the woman's life shortly after the accident occurred.

However, the woman experienced death only briefly. After that, he managed to come back to life as before. The incident suddenly made Thanatos shocked.

"Is it true that you really took his life, thanatos?" Hermes asked.

"Right. I am not lying. I've done all my duties very correctly. This is the first time I failed. I don't know why either," replied Thanatos with a confused look on his face.

“Then why did all this happen? Previously we have never failed in carrying out our duties,” said Hades thoughtfully.

"I don't know Hades either. This is a very strange thing," replied Thanatos.

They have been discussing this for several hours but there is still no answer and solution to the problem they are currently experiencing.

After their meeting was over, Hermes returned to the mortal world. Hermes arrived in the mortal world in the afternoon. after arriving at his house, hermes again checked his cellphone. He was very surprised because he received a notification that there were several calls from Charun that he had not yet answered.

"Charun? Why did he call me? Isn't this a holiday? Is there a problem with him?” asked hermes who was surprised to see the notification on his cellphone.

Hermes immediately called Charun to ask what had happened to him. However, Charun didn't answer the call from Hermes at all. Finally, Hermes ran out of the house to quickly get to his car. She is very worried about the current state of Charun.

Hermes was driving his car very fast. He wants to meet Charun soon. He was afraid if something happened because of the advantages possessed by Charun.

Arriving at Charun's house, Hermes immediately entered the house without knocking on the door.

“Charun..Charun.. where are you?” Hermes said as he walked through the rooms in Charun's house.

At Charun's house it's very quiet at the moment. Charun also doesn't text or answer calls from Hermes. Hermes had called Charun several times, but Charun still didn't answer.

"Charun come on pick up my phone .." Hermes said.

Charun is not at home at the moment. he also didn't bring his cell phone because his phone battery ran out. Therefore, he left his cell phone in his room.

Hermes continued to walk through room after room in Charun's house, until he finally arrived at Charun's room.

"This is Charun's cellphone," Hermes said, picking up Charun's cellphone.

Hermes unplugged Charun's cell phone which was charging at the moment. She checks Charun's cell phone to find out about Charun's whereabouts or problems. But the result is zero. He didn't find any evidence to suggest that Charun was in trouble at the moment.

"Then where are you, Charun?" Hermes said with tears in his eyes.

“what happened to you and where are you right now, is something bothering you?” he continued.

Ermes didn't find Charun at his house. He didn't even find anything on Charun's cell phone either.

"Where should I go Charun," said Hermes who started to lay his body on Charun's bed.

Hermes decided to rest in Charun's room for now. she also waits for Charun to come home. If Charun doesn't come home by tomorrow, Hermes intends to ask Thanatos and Hades for help regarding the problems he is currently facing.

"If you don't come home tomorrow, I will ask my friend for help," Hermes said before closing his eyes.
