Chapter 9: Alone

Charun immediately ran towards the outside of the house. He wanted to call Hermes to report the matter, but he forgot to bring his cell phone because he was scared. Finally he planned to go to his friend's house to borrow a cell phone.

However, Charun thought again about the identity of Hermes which must be protected as well as possible, he didn't want his friends or other people to hear about his conversation with Hermes which would also endanger Hermes' identity.

"No no, I have to go back to call Mr. Hermes. I have to be brave if I see that figure later," said Charun who turned his body.

Charun's body trembled at this time, he kept glancing at the bathroom door which was not far from his room. Charun tried as fast as possible to reach for the phone which was on his bed and left after getting it.

Charun is indeed at home alone at the moment. Previously, he lived with his parents and caregivers. However, his parents went out of town due to a job and his nanny was not at home.

After Charun got his cell phone, he went straight out of the house and called his teacher.

"Hello Mr Hermes, good afternoon. Sir, I have permission to convey, earlier I saw a scary female figure in my house. Can we catch him? Come on, let's catch it, sir," said Charun, a breathless voice.

“Afternoon char. Yes, we will catch him. I'll be there soon, can you send me your home address, okay?” Hermes replied with a small laugh.

Of course Hermes laughed, he thought Charun's words were very funny at the moment. The words he spoke were like those of a very innocent child.

After getting the address from Charun, Hermes went straight to Charun's house to see the figure he saw.

"Hello Charun, Mr. Hermes here" said Hermes who knocked on Charun's door.

Charun who heard Hermes' voice heard from outside immediately opened the door.

After Hermes entered Charun's room, he asked about the whereabouts of the figure Charun had seen. Charun immediately pulled Hermes' hand to take him to the bathroom near his room.

After reaching the bathroom, Hermes saw the figure described by Charun. This woman is scary, just like the other ghosts.

"That's it sir!" Hermes said, pointing at the woman.

The woman just smiled at Charun and Hermes.

After seeing the woman looking calm and doing nothing, Hermes immediately made inner contact with the woman. At this time, Hermes was sure that she didn't want to disturb Charun. On the other hand, Charun held hermes hand tightly and hid behind hermes body.

"Calm down, Chara. He won't bother you. He's been here before your family," Hermes said.

"Are you going to throw him out?" Hermes asked Charun.

Charun was silent and didn't answer hermes' words.

After Hermes spoke with the woman, he decided to send her to the underworld. This is because Hermes has explored the woman through her energy and the criteria for the woman are very appropriate to be sent to the underworld.

"I will send him to the underworld because his business is finished here," said Hermes who began to gather his energy.

"And this woman has agreed to it," he continued.

Hearing the words of Hermes, Charun was silent. Actually he didn't want her to be kicked out of his house, after hearing Hermes' words if she didn't bother him. But before he said that to Hermes, Hermes immediately sent the woman to the underworld.

After doing so, Hermes thanked Charun for helping him send his soul to the underworld.

There are so many spirits that Hermes has to send in this mortal world. However, since each spirit must be identified before being sent to the underworld, Hermes takes time to do this.

“If he doesn't bother me, why is he showing his true form to me, sir? I'm so scared to see it," said Charun curiously.

"Because you can already see Charun," answered Hermes with a surprised face.

Charun just laughed when he heard hermes answer. He forgot that his inner eye was already open. He wasn't used to the advantages he had. therefore, he was often startled and shouted when he saw strange figures appear around him.

After Hermes finished with his task, Charun invited him to drink green tea in his garden. He is very comfortable talking to Charun at this time like father and son. They joked and told funny things to make them both laugh.

Charun's shoulders still felt hot and his back felt heavy too. Charun just felt it again now. but he didn't tell hermes about it. He thought if it was the effect of the fatigue of his daily activities.

"You're home alone," Hermes asked Charun.

"Yes sir. My papa and mama are out of town on business, while my nanny is not at home at the moment,” explained Charun.

"Aren't you afraid of being alone at home?" Hermes asked curiously.

After Hermes came home, the situation at Charun's house was a little cooler than usual.

Charun studied until late at night because tomorrow there will be an exam he is very focused on his studies at this time.

Charun always wins first in his class. That's what motivates him to keep studying and get better grades for the next exam.

Suddenly, there was the sound of footsteps under the bed in Charun's room which suddenly startled him.

Charun's heart is beating really fast right now. he was very scared after hearing the voice. Before, Charun had never experienced anything like this even in his own home.
