The first thing Michael and Cedric did was exchange glances, and then after five seconds of confusion and visible disgust, they both returned their focus to the newest addition to their group. Occasionally, Heather would look to her brother's side, her eyes filled with admiration and respect. She was thrilled they were in the same team at least, but she wasn't satisfied. He hadn't joined because of her, instead, his attention was focused on that nobody! 'I'm stronger than that boy! Why won't he acknowledge me?' Heather would ask herself from time to time while keeping her emotions and obsession in check. She wanted to know what Michael Black had that she didn't have, and to prove herself to her brother, she had sworn to outshine the boy during this part of the tournament. "Excluding Mark's batch, we've managed to sell out fifty six bottles of the serum. That's about five hundred and sixty centiliters." The old doctor answered as he scribbled away at the large book atop his table. "And how is its authenticity? Is it as good as Mark's?" "Almost. It's the same formula, but ours seems to last only half the time of Mark's serum." Albus answered."Twelve hours is plenty. Villains are likely to make moves while the heroes are distracted with the contest tomorrow. Make sales to the heroes that will patrol the streets tomorrow, they need to be as strong as possible in order to curb the increment in crime." General Allen ordered before taking his leave. "What are those?" Michael asked as he raced behind Ben Fury. "We have no idea, it's the first time everybody's seeing them. I think the mutation in their system had gotten out of hand." Charles had mentioned something about supersoldiers, but this beyond anything he had expected. Henry asked in a pained tone. The wounds he had sustained from his fight with Damian were yet to heal, and the more he moved, the more difficult it was to keep himself from bleeding out. While the other students found their way back to the dorms, Damian took advantage of the chaos to sneak into the crowd. He wanted to meet and talk to a member of his family, just one. He knew they'd never visit him, not while he was in shadow vanguard and not Myriad. He had put up a decent performance at least, and was hoping to get congratulated by his family. However, the sudden chaos had completely ruined his plan, and now instead of seeking safety, he was seeking validation that he might never get. Mark studied the creature before him painstakingly. Although its structure looked like a human's, it was impossible to consider the new being before him a human being. "What exactly did you say happened to him?" Mark asked for the umpteenpth time, his curiosity piqued, and his fingers tingling with anticipation. A ranked heroes were supposed to be at the frontline, but he couldn't move yet, not until he was certain that everything and everyone was alright here. There was yet to be a discovery on what caused these sudden changes, so there was no guarantee that one of the students wouldn't suddenly turn and attack others.
