Hans preceded him

With his hand carrying a suitcase containing some money, Michael walked towards the payment counter and after waiting in line for quite a long time it was finally his turn.

"Is there anything I need your help with, sir?" asked the guard at the hospital payment counter.

"I want to pay off the hospital bills on behalf of Kayla Hoonsen," said Michael as he put the suitcase he was carrying on the table.

The woman guarding the payment counter nodded her head then checked her computer, her brow furrowed and Michael noticed this questioningly.

Michael's heart was pounding because he was afraid that he would be late and his daughter had already been expelled from the hospital, until the hospital counter guard started to speak up.

"The hospital fees in Kayla Hoonsen's name were paid in full by Mrs. Alea Hoonsen an hour ago and now there are no more hospital fees in arrears."

"Thank you then," said Michael then stepped away from the hospital payment area.

'Where did Alea get that much money in a short time? Was Sofia the one who helped him? "It doesn't seem possible," said Michael to himself as he took long steps down the hospital hallway to the room his daughter was in.

"Thank you for helping me, without Mr. Hans' help my daughter would have been discharged from the hospital an hour ago," Alea spoke without realizing that Michael was looking at her intently.

Hans grinned when he saw Michael's face which was now bright red. Until the next second, Michael started pushing Hans away from his wife, yes, that damn man had been looking for an opportunity to be close to his wife.

"Don't approach my wife again, don't think I don't know what the evil intentions are behind your kindness in lending my wife money," accused Michael, half his voice caught in his throat.

Hans deliberately took a few steps back when Michael pushed him, just to arouse Alea's sympathy for him. He's so cunning.

Alea's eyes widened, both shocked and angry at Michael's attitude like this.

“What are you doing Michael! You should be grateful because Mr. Hans has helped us. And indirectly he saved our daughter's life, but look what you do now. "You didn't thank me, but instead you pushed him down," said Alea, her emotions already running high.

“What are you borrowing from him for! "I have money and before leaving the hospital I told you to wait for me," Michael said to his wife with the muscles already popping out in his neck, as if to show how much emotion enveloped his heart.

Hans got up from the floor and approached the two of them.

"Don't be kidding! "You can't possibly have that much money and if you did you wouldn't have to be in arrears in hospital payments for months," accused Hans with a condescending smile.

The disdainful grin that Hans was showing now was truly able to ignite the fire of emotion in Michael's heart even more.

Michael didn't want to talk much to a cunning man like Hans. Michael took the suitcase that he had previously put on the floor then opened its contents, he saw a pile of dollar bills there. Michael immediately threw the suitcase right in front of Hans' feet.

Hans and Alea looked at the contents of the suitcase with unknown thoughts.

“This is 200,000 dollars that my wife borrowed, I'm paying it now! "You can count first if you're afraid it's not enough," Michael said fiercely with a hostile look.

Hans couldn't speak, the man looked at Michael angrily then took the suitcase containing the money. Hans really felt insulted now.

After Michael looked at Hans who had just taken the suitcase containing the money, Michael immediately grabbed Hans' hand and pushed him out of the hospital.

“Get out of our lives after this!” Michael said fiercely with fiery eyes.

Without waiting for an answer from Hans, Michael immediately turned around and left him.

Hans saw several people passing by around him looking at him with unknown looks.

Hans stared at Michael's back with a vengeful facial expression, his dark eyes seemed to radiate bad intentions in them.
