“Days have passed and yet Grandmother is not picking up any of our calls. Don’t you think it’s time we visit her and talk things out?” Stephen said amidst the silence that enveloped the room.

“How do we even do that when she threw us out? The guards in her house won’t even let us in. Don’t you remember what happened that day?” Linda reminded him, and once again silence reigned.

Nobody said anything for a while. Their allowance had been cut off and even their salary. The money in their accounts was going down and if it kept on like this then the Samson family might go broke.
