The CT scan started as Harrison was slid into a large donut-shaped machine called a gantry. The gantry emits a narrow beam of X-rays that rotates around his body, scanning it.

As the X-rays passed through his body, they were detected by a series of detectors that were located on the other side of the gantry.

The doctor paid attention as the machine started working while waiting to get a result from it. His eyes kept darting from the gantry down to a computer that would process the information and give out a result.
