Call him

Stephen's mouth twitched violently hearing Harrison's words. How dare he talk to him that way? It seemed like he had underestimated him greatly.

Groaning, Stephen managed to get up as he left the place, his face burning with embarrassment.

If only he hadn't met that cursed person at the gate, then this wouldn't have happened. It was just as his mother had said, Harrison was truly a bad luck.

---

Harrison on the other hand felt rather happy as he walked into the Company. The guards even though repulsed by his appearance didn't dare to look down on him as he carried a kind of demeanor ordinarily people wouldn't have which made them quite wary.

"Excuse me, sir, how may I help you." The receptionist's polite voice came as she stared at Harrison in disgust.

If not for the fact that she had been warned not to look down on anyone, she would have long called the guards to throw Harrison out because of the way he was dressed.

Besides, she remembered that the receptionist who was fired before she had looked down on a big shot. If not for the Company's intervention, the receptionist wouldn't have known how she died.

"Tell Ramon that Harrison is here." Harrison frowned, feeling rather impatient.

He was able to discern the receptionist's gaze and knew that she looked down on him. Even though he wasn't bothered, he was still annoyed as he was sure that the receptionist wouldn't have this kind of attitude if she wasn't working in the company.

"Excuse me, sir?" The receptionist frowned as though she couldn't hear Harrison.

"I said, call Ramon and inform him that I've arrived?" Harrison frowned, feeling rather impatient with the receptionist.

"And if I may ask, who are you?" The receptionist asked as she managed to keep her cool.

She couldn't believe that this shabbily dressed man was asking her to call Ramon. Even if she had no access to reach Ramon, she would have to inform some higher-ups who would then convey the message.

Besides, who didn't know Ramon, and yet the young man in front of her was asking as if Ramon was someone he would meet any time he felt like meeting him?

"You don't have to know who I am, just tell him.." Harrison's voice came, interrupting the receptionist's thought.

The receptionist's face darkened hearing Harrison's words. Who the hell did this man in front of her think he was? Well, it seemed like she shouldn't have respected him since he was this arrogant.

"Are you going to call him, or should I call him?" Harrison frowned as he glared at the receptionist.

"Call him?" The receptionist chuckled at Harrison's words feeling as though he was insane.

"I don't think you know who you want to call, right?" She frowned as she continued.

"I don't know who I want to call?" Harrison frowned as he waned.

"I'd suggest you get out right now before I call the guards." The receptionist sneered, not hiding the disgust in her eyes.

"Just call him." Harrison frowned as he looked at the receptionist.

"You," the receptionist chuckled, "You're not worthy."

"Get out or else, I'll ask the guards to kick you out." She continued as she stared at Ramon disgustingly.

Harrison didn't say anything and just brought out his phone dialing Ramon's number.

"Ramon, I'm here at the company, but your receptionist wants to kick me out saying I'm not worthy." Harrison frowned.

"I'll be right there young master," Ramon replied hurriedly.

"Who do you think you're calling, huh?" The receptionist sneered at Harrison making a call.

"We'll see when he comes." Harrison shrugged as he sat on the sofa.

"I'll suggest you get your dirty butt off that sofa." The receptionist frowned seeing that Harrison sat on the Sofa.

"And what does my sitting on the sofa have to do with you?" Harrison frowned.

"I'm afraid our guests won't want to sit on it since you'll be getting it dirty."

"I'd suggest you stand up before I call the guards."

"Call them, I'd like to see what they are capable of doing." Harrison shrugged.

"Guards, there's a miscreant here at the lobby, come get him out." The receptionist frowned, speaking into the intercom which was connected to the Guard's place.

"Kid, why the hell are you causing trouble?" A voice boomed Almost immediately after the receptionist finished talking.

Turning to look at the voice, Harrison saw four blurry guards walking towards him with a sneer on their faces.

"Kid, allowing you to walk in didn't mean that we expected you to cause some trouble, so I think it'll be better if you get your ass up and leave." One of the guards sneered as they walked towards Harrison.

Harrison frowned as he glanced at the guards before turning around to ignore them.

"How dare you ignore the kid? You've got some nerves huh?" One of the guards frowned as they walked towards Harrison.

"Just get him out of here, his sight repulses me." The receptionist frowned.

"We'll do that, we just want to see how tough he is." The guards sneered.

Harrison glanced at the guards calmly, seemingly not disturbed about their oppressive aura.

"Hey kid, get the fuck out of our sight or do you want us to help you do that?" The guards frowned looking at Harrison.

Harrison shook his head before turning away. He wouldn't have come if he knew this was what was going to happen.

He had first had a good impression of the company when he just came in as they didn't look down on him. But then it turned out that it was all just a farce.

It only took a sentence from him before they were able to discard their farce. It seemed like everything he had imagined was just a lie.

Everyone was just like that, they would disrespect those who didn't have any power or money and respect those who had them.

He was truly disappointed. Besides, Ramon was taking too long to come, so maybe he was just going to have to leave in the end.

"What the hell do you all think you're doing?" A scolding voice came just as the guard was about to say something.
