Secure the contract

"Did you come to beg for money again," Rachel smiled seeing Caroline walk into the villa.

"And who cares about your money." Caroline sneered as she stared at her stepmother.

"So tell me, why did you come here?" Rachel chuckled.

"Well, my husband found a job, so now, he's a lot better than all of your twerps," Caroline said coldly.

"He got a job at which company?" Rachel frowned as she asked.

"At the sterling Co-operation." Caroline smiled.

Haha! Haha!

Rachel suddenly burst out laughing, after some time, she managed to suppress her laughter as she looked at Caroline, "You almost got me there."

"You think Sterling Co-operation would give that useless trash of yours you call a husband a job?"

"I think you've been desperate for so long that you became delusional." Rachel chuckled as she continued.

"I'd advise you to go back and ask that useless husband of yours where he got a job. I think it must be a useless men's Cooperation instead."

Caroline frowned hearing Rachel's words. Well, she couldn't be bothered by her stepmother's words, this was not the first time so she wasn't surprised.

She had long known that the one who had been suppressing her husband was her mother, but there was nothing she could do about it.

Sterling Co-operation was a company beyond her level so she was sure that as long as her husband qualified for the job, they wouldn't hesitate before giving it to him.

"I think you're delusional instead, do you think I don't know it's you all these years?" Caroline frowned as she couldn't take it anymore.

"What do you know?" Rachel frowned looking at Caroline.

"I knew you were the one behind my husband's joblessness, you suppressed all the companies and prevented them from giving him a job."

"It seems like you know a lot." Rachel sneered, "But do you have any evidence?"

"I..." Caroline shuttered not knowing what to say, she shouldn't have said that.

"I'll sue you and your useless husband for slandering me. Who the hell do you both think you are? I said your useless husband hasn't gotten a job nor would he get a job in this life, though I'm not sure about the next life." Rachel's voice turned cold as she stared at Caroline.

"Do you think Sterling Co-operation would give your husband who's dressed so shabbily a chance for an interview to talk more or less about giving him a job?" Rachel continued with a sneer.

"It seems like you've been delusional for so long that you decided not to look at the details. Who would even want to spare that useless husband of yours a glance?"

"In my eyes, a dog is far better than him."

Caroline gritted her teeth as she didn't know how to reply her stepmother had completely left her speechless. There was no way she was going to say anything, even if she wanted to say something, what could she say?

But then she knew that Harrison was lying to her. With the happiness on his face the day before, she was sure that he got a job and didn't want to dispute that fact so she believed firmly and nothing was going to shake that belief.

"Mum, why are you being harsh on my younger sister?" A mocking voice came at the moment.

"Did you come to ask for money again?" Stephen, who was dressed in formal attire, frowned as he looked at Caroline.

"None of your business," Caroline growled.

"Here take this, you know I have to care for you and your useless husband." Stephen laughed as he threw a bundle of cash at Caroline.

"Who the hell wants your money?" Caroline sneered, catching the bundle and removing the paper holding it together before throwing it at her stepbrother's face.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Rachel frowned as she stared at Caroline.

"Returning his money to him of course." Caroline frowned as she stared at Stephen.

"Get out of the Villa you ungrateful brat." Rachel frowned as she pointed at the door.

"I'll leave, but you should know that my husband has gotten a job and none of you can take it away from him, not even you." Caroline sneered as she walked out.

"Ungrateful brat." Rachel sneered as she walked out of the villa.

"Mum, I'm off to secure the contract for us, I'll be back soon, don't worry?" Stephen smiled as he also walled out of the Villa seemingly not angry with what Caroline had done.

Rachel smiled as she nodded at her son. Once he was able to secure the contract, she was sure that the family would soar to great heights and no one would be able to stop them.

"Young master, I'll prepare for your arrival." Ramon smiled, feeling excited hearing that Harrison was coming over.

"I'll be there soon," Harrison smiled as he got into the taxi feeling rather annoyed with himself before hanging up the phone.

Just before he could go out this morning, his wife had suddenly gone out. Not knowing where she had gone, he decided to wait for her.

But then when she came back and told him what her stepmother and stepbrother had done and said to her, he felt annoyed.

Going out of the house, he headed to Sterling Co-operation, but then he called Ramon to inform him of his arrival. Just as he had expected, Ramon was very excited and was eagerly waiting for him.

In about ten minutes or so, the taxi pulled up in front of Sterling Co-operation, paying the taxi driver. Harrison stood staring at a huge building in front.

He was amazed by how huge the building was. This was his first time coming here as he had always felt a sense of inferiority which made him stay away from places like this.

Taking a deep breath Harrison frowned as he prepared to walk forward, since he had suddenly become a billionaire heir, she naturally had responsibilities and he had no other choice but to do them.

Suddenly the honking of a car filled his ears making him frown with displeasure. What the hell was happening? He wasn't standing on the road, so why the hell was the car honking at him?

Turning around with a frown, Harrison froze, but soon, his frown disappeared, replaced with a smile.

"And what's my good in-law doing here?" Stephen, who had gotten the driver of the car to honk at Harrison, smiled as he approached him slowly.

"It must have reached you, so why act dumb?" Harrison raised his brows as he stared at Stephen.

"Oh yeah, I forgot, my sister told me you got a job." Stephen smiled as he looked at Harrison.

"Tell me which job you got?"

"Well, if you must know, I got the job of a cleaner, isn't that amazing?" Harrison smirked.

"Amazing my ass." Stephen sneered as he looked at Harrison, his face filled with disgust.

At first, he had thought that Harrington had got a respectable position and was planning to suck up to him a little bit. But it seemed like he was wrong, he was just as useless as he had always been.

He would never achieve anything in his life. Thinking about this made Stephen even more disgusted as he stared at Harrison.

"You're still trash, you'll never make it, Just hope the Sterling Co-operation will not kick you out soon." Stephen sneered.

"And what made you think that the Sterling Co-operation would kick me out?" Harrison smirked.

"Do you think you're worthy of the Sterling Co-operation to keep you?" Stephen laughed.

"And what makes you think so?" Harrison smiled.

"I'll soon sign a Co-operation with them and then I'll make them fire you." Stephen sneered.

"Is that so?" Harrison's mouth curled up into a smirk as he stared at Stephen.

"Just watch and see, besides, I think you should start getting ready to pack your loads." Stephen sneered as he walked into Sterling's cooperation.

"I wish you good luck in your cooperation." Harrison smiled.

"Don't worry." Stephen sneered as he walked into the building.

Harrison sneered as he watched Stephen walk into the company. There was no way he was going to sign the contract not under his watch. He had to make sure to humiliate him.

Thinking about this, Harrison smiled as he took out his phone to call Ramon.

"Young Master," Ramon's cheerful voice came immediately when he picked up the call.

"Someone named Stephen Jones would come to sign a contract with your company, not in any way should it be I sighed, I don't care how it's done," Harrison ordered coldly.

"Don't worry young master, consider it done." Ramon smiled.

"By the way Young Master, are you still coming?"

"Don't worry about that, I'm already at the front of the company, but I'll come in later, I just want to observe something." Harrison smiled.

"Okay, Young Master." Ramon smiled.

Even though he was quite happy, he was still nervous. The master had traveled out for a business deal and now that the young Master was here they were not going to meet. Would the young master still agree to come if the master comes back?

---

"You can't do that, do I? You can't throw me out, it's unfair." A yell came as two bulky men dragged a figure out of the company.

The figure was unsurprisingly Stephen who was being dragged by two security men.

"We'll break your legs if you dare step in again." The two men said coldly as they coldly threw Stephen out of the company.

"You bunch of trash, why the hell did you treat me that way? You've got no courtesy at all." Stephen yelled, feeling rather annoyed.

He had been about to finalize the deal with Mr. Whiteman when the latter suddenly received a call.

Not knowing the content of the call, all he knew was that Mr. Whiteman suddenly went hostile and asked the security men to throw him out of the company which greatly hurt his pride.

"Aren't you going to sign the contract?" A mocking voice came just as Stephen was dwelling in his misery.

"And what are you doing here, trash?" Stephen frowned, feeling rather annoyed.

He believed it was because Harrison was bad luck that was why he was thrown out of the company. He had the urge to beat him up but he didn't have the power to do it.

"Who's trash between the two of us?" Harrison sneered as he stared at Stephen.

"I think the guards didn't bully you enough, or else, you wouldn't have the mouth to spew out nonsense," Harrison smirked as he stared at Stephen.

"Well I'll be going to do my job right now, You should do the same, or I'm afraid you'll be knocked out by a car."

"Are you threatening me?" Stephen frowned as he stared at Harrison.

"Nope," I'm just saying fact, but if you feel like I'm threatening you, then I think you should stay and see if what I said would come to pass." Harrison smiled, patting Stephen on the shoulder.

"Tet your hands off me you trash!" Stephen yelled, brushing Harrison's hands away from his arms.

"I think you should be okay with the fact that I'm just patting you, you know I've not taken my revenge yet." Harrison grinned.

"What do you think you're doing?" Stephen frowned as he looked at Harrison wearily.

"No need to be so scared, I didn't say that I was going to wake you up huh." Harrison laughed.

"Just get out of here as fast as you can, now that I'm going in, you know what would happen if I told the guards you're still raining insults on them." Harrison smiled.

"You..." Stephen gritted his teeth but he had no other choice but to get to his feet as he was afraid Harrison would do as he had said.

"That's it, take care." Harrison smiled

"I wonder if your mum would faint if she heard that you were kicked out." He continued as he walked into the company.
