Got a job

Harrison on the other hand walked out of the store feeling rather happy. He was sure that his wife was waiting for him at home and he couldn't wait to go home to see her.

Even though he wasn't going to tell her what happened today, he was at least telling her some good news and it was that they were never going to have to suffer anymore. Harrison's mood was extremely good at the moment.

Vroom! Vroom!

Suddenly rows of police cars surrounded Harrison making him frown and wonder what was happening.

"Yeah, that's him, he's the one, he has to be one of the robbers." An excited voice drifted into Harrison's ears just as Harrison was surrounded.

Harrison frowned hearing the voice. When the hell did he rob a bank? He knew there was a bank robbery days ago, but then it had nothing to do with him, this was a pure misunderstanding.

They had mistaken him for someone else. Besides, the voice he heard just now was rather too familiar. Wasn't it Janet's voice?

"Suspect surrounded, stay back he may be armed." The police communicated through the loudspeaker.

Next, all of them got out slowly from their car and aimed their guns at Harrison from a safe distance.

"Suspect, please put your hands at the back of your head and don't move." The leader of the police said into the mike making Harrison frown.

"Put your hands at the back of your head, or we'll shoot." The police repeated.

Harrison frowned but didn't do anything, he stood rather unmoving not heeding the police commands.

"Harrison, you better cooperate with the police and let them capture you." An excited voice came just as Harrison was wondering what to do.

"Janet?" Harrison frowned seeing it was Janet.

He wondered what the hell Janet had told these policemen that made them take him as a criminal when he wasn't one. He just couldn't understand what was going on.

"Shut the hell up Harrison and surrender, there's nowhere to hide." Janet sneered.

"You're a criminal and were involved in the Bank robbery days ago right?' Janet continued.

"Bank robbery?" Harrison frowned.

"Don't even try to deny it. If you didn't rob a bank, then how did you get the money to buy that flower?"

"That's because it's my money." Harrison sneered.

It finally dawned on what had happened. It turned out that Janet thought he was amongst the robbers who had robbed a bank days ago and had gone to report to the police. But then the police were not supposed to listen to her until she had concrete evidence which he was sure she didn't have.

But still, they decided to listen to her. It seemed like he had to teach her a lesson or else she wouldn't know where she belonged.

Harrison ignored the warning of the policemen and directly put his hands into his pocket bringing out his phone. The policemen were ready to shoot but were stopped by their leader, all observing Harrison's action.

Bringing out his phone, Harrison dialed Ramon's number which was picked up almost immediately.

"Young Master, have you changed your mind and want to visit the master." Ramon's excited voice came from the other end of the phone.

"No, I ran into trouble and I need you to come," Harrison replied.

"Young Master, where are you?" Ramon, who was sitting quietly on the couch at the VIP lounge at the bar, sprang to his feet hearing Harrison's words.

"I'm at the street down the line of the bar, it'd be about a five-minute walk from the bar," Harrison replied.

"I'll be there in a minute," Ramon said quickly as he ran out of the lounge. Who dared to trouble the young master?

"I'm just being surrounded by policemen who want to take me away for questioning as I'm a criminal." Harrison chuckled as he hung up the phone.

Ramon's blood boiled hearing Harrison's. Last words, it turned out that he was surrounded by the police. No wonder why he had called him.

Well, he couldn't delay any longer and needed to rush to the young master's aid. Getting into the car, the driver drove away quickly after receiving orders from Ramon.

"Harrison, no matter who you call, they can't save you. You're a criminal and deserve to be put in prison." Janet sneered.

"We'll see about that," Harrison smirked as he turned around to look at the police. He didn't feel a bit threatened and even looked down on them since they felt like they could bully him.

The reason the police didn't shoot even after seeing Harrison's actions was that in truth, they also knew that the woman with them was using them to carry out a personal grudge. But then they couldn't go against their superior as he had asked them to come capture Harrison as he was involved in the robbery.

Cases like this needed solid evidence. They wouldn't have hesitated to shoot if Janet had provided evidence, but she didn't and instead just wanted them to capture Harrison claiming he was a criminal.

Vroom! Vroom!

Rows of cars suddenly drove into the scene stopping right near the police cars, men in black suits rushed out of the car and surrounded Harrison protecting him from the police who still had their guns pointed at him.

"What do you all think you are doing?" A hoarse voice came, sending shivers down the spine of the Policemen.

The policemen turned around to look at the owner of the voice only to see it was Ramon. Immediately they froze on the spot not knowing what to do next.

"Young Master, hope you are alright?" Ramon sighed as he looked at Harrison.

"Yeah, I'm alright, it's just that these policemen accused me of being a criminal." Harrison smiled as he said gently.

Immediately, Ramon's eyes changed as he glanced at the policemen who shivered from his glare. How dare they accuse the young master of being a criminal.

Right after he found the young master, before going to meet him, he had already investigated him and had seen that the Young Master had no criminal records of any sort, but here they were accusing him of being a criminal.

"Young Master, how wouldn't you like to deal with them?" Ramon asked as he didn't know what to do.

"Investigate the root of the matter and put that woman in jail for maybe about two weeks." Harrison smiled as he pointed at Janet.

Janet who was in the car couldn't help but shiver hearing Harrison's words. She just couldn't understand what was happening. She was here to make the police put Harrison in jail, instead the opposite was happening and they were going to put her in jail instead.

Who the hell was Harrison and why the hell is he so powerful? She just couldn't understand no matter how much she thought about it.

"You heard the young master, carry out his orders, I'll be back to deal with you," Ramon ordered as he walked towards Harrison.

"Young Master, allow me to send you back home.," Ramon smiled.

"No problem." Harrison smiled as he walked towards the car with Ramon.

---

An hour later, the car pulled up in front of a small house.

"Young Master, is this really where you live?" Ramon sighed feeling rather conflicted as he didn't know what to say.

"Yeah," Harrison replied as he got down from the car with the bouquet in his hands.

"How about I arrange for you another place to stay, I have many mansions, you could choose one instead of living in this run-down place."

"That'll be unnecessary." Harrison waved his hands as he walked towards the door.

"Besides, I suggest you get going as my wife would be scared if she sees you." Harrison continued with a smile.

"Your wife?" Ramon replied feeling rather confused.

"Yeah, any problem?" Harrison frowned.

"No Young Master," Ramon replied quickly, feeling rather strange.

How the hell had he not known that the young master was married? If he had known he would have surely bought a gift for her. But then he should have realized it when he saw the young master holding a bouquet.

Besides, the flowers seemed not to be ordinary flowers. Even though he couldn't recognize the flower, he was sure that it wasn't an ordinary flower but just didn't know which flower it was.

"I'll leave right now, young master." Ramon smiled as he signaled to the driver to drive away.

Seeing Ramon's signal, the driver quietly drove away to the police station. He already knew that was where he was supposed to head. There was still some unfinished business in the station and they had to complete it.

Harrison on the other hand had a smile on his face, a lot had happened today so he was rather happy. Besides, he was too lazy to deal with Janet which was why he had used the simplest punishment he could think of.

"Here you are, Harrison." Caroline smiled immediately as Harrison walked into the house.

"This is for you." Harrison smiled as he passed the bouquet to Caroline with a smile on his face.

"What's with the occasion?" Caroline frowned as she took the bouquet from him and sniffed in the fragrance of the flowers.

"I got a job." Harrison grinned.

"You got what?" Caroline frowned, feeling rather dumbfounded as she felt it was too good to be true.

"I found a job," Harrison smiled as he walked towards his wife with a smile on his face

Caroline frowned, even though she was happy, she couldn't help but think that Harrison was just trying to convince her that he got a job as she had been rather too depressed about the fact that he didn't have a job.

"Don't you believe what I said?" Harrison frowned seeing Caroline's expression.

Caroline sighed as she didn't know what to say. For the past years, her husband had been going around searching for a job but he just couldn't get one. He wasn't even given the job of a cleaner or a security man.

And now, he suddenly came and said he found a job, she found it rather too surreal and didn't want to believe it.

"Today, I went to Sterling Co-operation to try my luck, and lucky I got a job." Harrison sighed as he explained.

Caroline's face brightened hearing what Harrison said. Who didn't know about Sterling Co-operation? So she was convinced that the company wouldn't play favoritism and would accept workers based on talent.

"We ought to have a feast since you got a job, I'll go prepare something for us to eat." Caroline smiled as she walked into the kitchen.

Harrison nodded and didn't say anything, he knew his wife's emotions were not too stable so he didn't say anything. Even though he was sure that she believed him, he still couldn't help but sigh.

At the very least, he was going to remove all of her burden. He wanted her to live a good life and be happy. He just wanted her to be happy and nothing else. Well, he was close to achieving his aim and was sure about it.

His wife was the only one who had protected him in the face of adversities and now he was going to do the same for her, he would make sure to give her all she ever wanted.

No matter what it was as long as it existed, he would make sure to get it for his wife as she was the only one who deserved it. As for his in laws, it was time for revenge. Since they always had looked down on him, he would have to teach them some lessons.

But first, he still had to ignore them and focus on making his wife happy. Besides, there were a lot of things. He was sure that being a billionaire heir just didn't come alone, it would come with a lot of challenges and he had to face them no matter what.
