The contract was fabricated?

“What are you saying? Was the contract forged?” Grandmother was overwhelmed by what she just heard. She felt hit by sudden pain in her chest that triggered the weakening of her body due to old age. All this while she was quite vibrant but now it felt like her whole strength sucked dry.

Far behind, Caroline wanted to tell them how she signed the contract and how Ramon congratulated her. How come all that was fabricated? Or was it that the Ramon she met was a scam?

“Don't worry, wife. Just watch and see” Harrison consoled her. Though he didn't know what Whitman was up to, he trusted him to do a good job. After all, Whitman wouldn't dare to do anything that would make Harrison angry.

“Are you saying I should just stay and watch?” Caroline wanted to raise an alarm even though Harrison told her to stay put. She saw no reason why he was telling her that when just like her, he heard what Whitman said.
