“Are you excited, wife? Grandmother is going to announce it soon enough” Harrison said as he approached Caroline.

“I am still nervous though,” Caroline replied, a little tense.

“Don't be. Everything will go fine” he assured and stood right next to her facing Grandmother who was now ready to give out the speech.

The entire hall had turned silent. Everyone gave her their eyes and listening ears, but their mouths were sealed while their chests filled with curiosity.

“Okay, first of all, I want to thank my daughter, Rachel, for having such wonderful kids who have made a change to this great family,” Grandmother started and everyone smiled. “ I would like to give my thanks to Linda who did well and successfully gained us a contract with Sterling Corporation. Her effort was exceptional, and she made sure to show how good the Samson family is” Grandmother added and everyone started clapping.
