”Lay down on the floor, for you?” Linda stammered. Her eyes glinted in disgust for a brief moment as she spoke, making Edward raise a brow at her.

His words must have caught her off guard and expectedly she didn’t look like she was going to accept. Just the kind of reaction he was expecting, and even more.

“You don’t like it? You don’t like my condition?” Edward said with a taunting smile, and she nearly choked.

However, she was able to read the situation and predict what might be going on in his head. But then she wasn’t worried about agreeing, but whether Stephen would be willing to do such a thing.

In Edward’s words, he didn’t just emphasize laying on the floor only, he also mentioned ‘till he would be pleased.’ And that wasn’t something to be taken lightly.
