Ken stared at the door and shifted his gaze back to Adams. Was the man asking him to leave?

"But sir...I...the computer." he began to stammer.

Adams placed his phone on the table and threw his back against the chair. "Are you flaunting my orders?"

Ken was silent. All he was requesting was a computer to discharge the task assigned to him.

Adams stared at the watch on his left wrist. "You've got 55 minutes Ken so the sooner you start working, the faster you'll be done," he told Ken, maintaining a serious face.

"Yes sir." was Ken's reply. He gave a sad nod and made his way out of the office.

"Stop walking like a girl," Adams screamed at his departing figure. "Hurry up and work on those transactions," he yelled at him.

Ken stepped out of the office. He rested his back against the wall and folded his arms across his chest. He just met Adams and had already concluded that the man was stern and insensitive.
