Trying not to sleep off, I listened to the bore of all bores on how to lead a group, what we need to know, and all the mumble jumble about the training.
God help me.
After the session, I stood up to go and turned to see Allen skittered towards me.
'Hey, um...I'd like us to get to see again before we start work fully.' said Allen with a shy smile on a face. 'Since we'd be working together for a whole month, maybe we should get to know each other, don't you think?'
Processing what he said as fast as I can, as my brain was about to hibernate in sleep, I replied,
