I contemplated between playing detective and minding my business and I decided to play detective.
As she scurried to the bathroom for the umpteenth time this night, I tiptoed after her, pressing my ears on the bathroom door as I heared her cranky voice.
'What?' Her voice echoed from the bathroom 'What do you mean you're backing out?!'
Muffled responses came from the phone and she continued.
'No. No. No no no no no! You can't do this to me, Not now!' She shrieked breathlessly, trying to keep her voice down.
'What in the world is going on?'
The voice from the phone sounded a little angry as it came with more force and intensity than it did previously.
