While Richard was talking to the girl, the thugs scattered like frightened birds.

Yet, every tiny movement they made didn't escape Richard's keen eyes, which seemed to see right through them.

A faint, cold smile curved his lips, a mix of mockery for the thugs' poor acting and anticipation for the show about to unfold.

With a gentle wave of his arm, an invisible force spread through the air, making the entire space feel constricted.

As the thugs ran, they suddenly felt an overwhelming pressure, as if an invisible weight was pressing down on them, making it hard to breathe.

“W-What do you want?” one thug managed to stammer, his voice trembling. Unbeknownst to him, he had already wet his pants from fear.

Richard didn’t reply.

Panic washed over them as they realized they couldn't move at all, even the simplest act of lifting a foot became impossible.

“Kill this damn brat! Get revenge for our boss!”

A roar came from behind Richard.

“Kill him! Kill him...!”
