The standoff continued, tension hanging thick in the air.

Jillian sat in the car, her expression anxious yet a bit excited.

Just like the last time she had seen hope in a crisis, she recognized Richard—the one who had saved her before.

Through the window, she saw Richard facing off against several thugs.

Although he appeared tall and strong, in Jillian’s mind, he was a skilled doctor, not proficient in martial arts.

She couldn’t help but worry for him, knowing he was outnumbered.

“I can’t let this innocent man get dragged into this,” she thought, especially seeing how fierce the thugs looked.

“Go now!”

She quickly rolled down the window and shouted urgently, “Richard, leave! Don’t worry about me! Just contact my father and have him send help!”

Hearing her words, Richard turned, wearing a casual and confident smile as he waved a hand to reassure her.

“Don’t worry, the driver with me is already contacting your father. They’ll be here soon.”

Jillian felt a small sigh of relief and smiled
