Realising who was standing behind him, Elliot halted in his tracks. Everyone in the party had gone silent even the music volume was reduced.

"Mr Revenmar, I didn't know you to attend parties like this." He couldn't hide the malice in his voice although he trembled for thought of the image his boss now had of him.

"I didn't also know you to hut women. Being fraudulent is one, but hitting women, unacceptable. Don't show up at work again. Turn in your resignation letter first thing in the morning." Aiden said, his voice cold but his eyes fixed on Frances and Layla. He had first noticed Frances trying to intervene in a family matter which he didn't give mind to until he sensed the menacing aura from the asshole.
