Chapter 132

"Crazy night, right?" Aiden asked, looking sidelong at Athena. It was some minutes past midnight.

After the whole fracas in the party, they had both decided to sneak off to the top of the building. Luckily for them, no guard was on sight and the small door leading to the roof was open. Athena's face shone in the nightlight from several buildings around them, the breeze blowing through her hair. She looked absolutely stunning with her well proportioned face and dove set eyes. Aiden could stare into those dark eyes forever.

"Yeah, an unpleasant turn of events I must say," Athena said turning to look at him. She caught him staring and her cheeks flushed a deep red as she looked away. "Something good came out of it though. Layla got a man to hang off on." She laughed. Her laughter sounded like tinkling glasses. Delicate and light.
