Chapter 139

As the car cruised on the road getting closer to Aiden's apartment, he still couldn't shake off the feeling of dread concerning Liam and what the Chairman said. To him, he strongly believed Liam was out for something, most likely vendetta against the Chairman for abandoning him. Also he could still see the task in his screen. "Master?" His driver called over the intercoms. Aiden had put up the screen creating a physical isolation for his thoughts. His driver calling him broke him out of his reverie.

"Yes?" His voice had frosted over so his response was like a sharp ice barb. However, the driver didn't flinch being used to his constant cold demeanor. Bowing slightly although he knew his master couldn't see him, he said, "Our operation is due to happen in 2 days sir. We have the target's location locked in."
