All the things Aiden heard still sounded unrealistic to him.

"Unc?" Trisha who was just walking about met Aiden as he trudged out of the chairman's office, seeking for a few days to think about his decision.

She ran so quickly and hugged him, sobbing.

"I'm so sorry, unc. Because of me, I'm so sorry."

As she begged Aiden, with those loud cries, his mind suddenly wondered to what the chairman said about her carrying the guilt of her brother's death. He tried to imagine how devastated the little girl would have felt.

"There's nothing to be sorry about Trish. I am glad, I was able to protect you." He said.

For now, he didn't know what to believe. Maybe he was the one that they were targeting or they thought Trisha too would be with him. But one thing he knows is that those guys didn't look like there was another person they were supposed to kill.
