I chuckled in annoyance as the sound of a ringing mobile phone interrupted my concentration.

Nevertheless, I got up from my seat and picked up the phone, which I had placed on the desk.

I frowned as I realised it was Olivia. I'm sure it's something important, because she's not someone who's used to bothering me when it's just an ordinary problem.

"What is it. Oliv?"

"Sir. Have you seen the news?"

"What news?" I asked as I grabbed the remote from the table and pressed the 'ON' button.

"It's really a disaster, sir. The city is in chaos."

Olivia continued to speak, but my senses of sight and hearing were focused on the television in front of me. Just as Olivia had said, the city was indeed in chaos. There were riots and fires all over the place. The picture of the situation was from above, it looked like the news reporter was taking pictures from a helicopter.
