Chapter 59

"What is that, sir?" a nurse, already wearing full PPE, asked me after I handed her a box of neutralising potion. After visiting the police guarding the border, we visited a hospital.

This was the original hospital where the bodies of the victims of the mysterious murders were kept before being transferred to the central hospital in the city. Although the bodies are no longer here, the hospital is still closed because the city government fears that it still has reserves of the virus.

"This is a neutralising potion, Miss. After drinking it, the body will be immune to the poison."

The woman looked at the potion bottle carefully, then held it out to me.
