“I have an idea,” Ramond said, his voice deep and commanding, breaking the silence that filled the room.

Jennifer stared at him with disbelief, her eyes narrowing as if trying to decipher the thoughts behind her husband’s words. “What idea are you thinking of this time?” she asked in a low voice.

Ramond took a slow drag from his cigar, exhaling the smoke with a measured calmness. “We kill Thalib Guezz.”

The words hung in the air like a bomb detonating without a sound. Jennifer froze, her heart pounding in her chest. She turned sharply, her face a mixture of shock and anger. “Are you insane? I don’t agree with this!”

Ramond placed the cigar down deliberately, then stood up. Despite his advancing age, his presence was as imposing as ever. “Are you still defending your ex-father-in-law?” he asked coldly, his words cutting like a blade to Jennifer’s heart.

“If so, feel free to go back to the Guezz family. Leave me and our children. I don’t need a woman like you!”
