The girl repacked the alcohol bandage she had used to treat the master's wound. Not deep, just a scratch. But still, a wound was better treated than left untreated.

"Aren't you hungry, sir?" she asked before leaving. Arthur didn't budge, his face staring flatly and intently at the floor in front of him, while Garden tensed up when Arthur turned his sharp gaze towards him.

"I'll eat if I'm hungry" he said coldly and then turned his gaze elsewhere. Garden nodded her understanding and stood up, walking away but her arm was restrained.

A few seconds passed, and there was no sound to explain his actions. But when Garden wanted to open her voice to ask a question, the arm that had been restrained was pulled away, the same person hugging the girl's waist, seeking warmth between her tiny waist.

While Garden froze, not knowing what to do.

"Garden, let's start realizing your promise...," he said but Garden did not understand.

"What do you mean, sir?"

"I want you to sleep here" Arthur said makin
