164 : No Longer Friend

With a hesitant tone, the woman answered. "I don't think so." Eve was still watching Victor's expression, looking suspicious for such a gray situation. Their leader had been missing since last night, no one knew where he was. Then when the only person who most likely knew where he was, that person looked confused too. That made Eve even more doubtful, she asked. "Do you know anything, Victor?"

But she was ignored, Victor then waltzed away in a hurry, leaving her standing looking at the man's departure suspiciously.

In just a moment of time out of every hectic second, William would pause to take in his surroundings.
