It hesitated... as if unsure whether Baxter Holmes was allowed to exist anymore. Blue fragments of fractured authority coalesced in front of Aleric, stitching together into a half-formed silhouette. Baxter emerged slowly, his body now fully physical, no longer data. His super suit armor was completely broken and destroyed. His eyes burned with cold, and desperate intelligence.
