059 - Awake

"You're finally awake!" Aleric exclaimed. He was close to tears. This friend of his had kept him worried for hours. He was afraid like the doctors have expressed, he won't make it. Luckily, Adams is a fighter who won't give up on his life just like that.

Adams Smith looked around the place. He is surrounded by white walls. He remembered the feeling of waking up and seeing himself dressed in a hospital gown.

Streams of events soon flooded his mind. He recalled he attempted to commit suicide. That was insane since he cherished his life way more than anything else in the world. Why did he attempt self-homicide? It was abnormal and he couldn't point a finger at the reason why.

"Yeah, I am awake." His voice was surprisingly soothing, not a bit like that of someone who has been in a coma for the past seven hours.

"Great, I'll call the doctor." Aleric rang the bell. His hair was disheveled and his suit was unkempt. It was clear how worried he was.
