"How is that possible?" He shouted in disbelief. "You check the payment again you might have made a mistake." He pointed at the woman behind the checkout counter.

The woman confirmed through his payment machine and the charge He processed on Dakota's card. "There was no mistake, sir. The card you were given accepted the transaction and only required confirmation. The fund balance of the card was sufficient to pay the bill."

"But that's impossible," Alex said, looking confused about what was happening.

"I told you, while you were busy playing around and never showed up. There have been so many changes." Alex stares angrily at Dakota, his face visibly flushed.
