Jun's heart was racing as he approached Sarah's apartment door, her message still burning in his mind.

The sounds coming from inside made him freeze mid-step. Unmistakable moans filtered through the thin walls, shattering his hopes into a thousand pieces.

No, it can't be. After everything we've been through... His hand trembled on the doorknob before rage took over, and he slammed his shoulder against the door.

The lock splintered, and the scene inside stopped him cold. Sarah lounged on the bed, her initial shock quickly morphing into a cruel smile. Beside her, Marcus Tozer – the notorious rich playboy – stretched lazily, not bothering to cover himself.

"Well, if it isn't my personal bone marrow donor," Sarah drawled, examining her nails. "Right on time, as expected. You always were so... dependable."

Jun's mind reeled. "Sarah, what... why?"

"Oh, buddy, you didn't think that message was actually from her, did you?" Marcus laughed, reaching for his phone. "I must say, you came running faster than my father's guard dogs at feeding time!"

The message was from him? Jun's fists clenched as understanding dawned. This had all been a setup to humiliate him.

Sarah stood up, wrapping herself in a silk robe that probably cost more than Jun's monthly salary. "You know, Marcus and I had a bet on how quickly you'd show up. Like a trained puppy, right on cue!"

"After everything I did for you?" Jun's voice cracked. "The bone marrow donation, the hospital visits..."

"Oh please," Sarah rolled her eyes dramatically. "Did you think I actually cared? You were convenient – a perfect match in the donor database. Nothing more."

Marcus moved to stand beside her, draping an arm around her shoulders. "Tell him about the face you made when he thought you actually liked him back! That story kills at parties."

"My favorite is when he brought me flowers in the hospital," Sarah giggled. "Like a stray dog bringing back a dead bird, thinking it's a gift!"

The laughter felt like acid in Jun's veins. Every memory of their time together twisted into something ugly.

"You used me..." he whispered, the truth finally sinking in.

"Obviously," Sarah examined her reflection in a nearby mirror. "But look on the bright side – at least some part of you turned out to be useful. More than we can say for the rest!"

Marcus pulled out his phone, grinning. "Smile for the camera, donor boy! This is definitely going on my I*******m. 'When your girlfriend's ex thinks he still has a chance.' Should go viral pretty quick!"

Jun stood there, humiliation and rage warring inside him. All those nights he'd spent by her hospital bed, the pain of the bone marrow extraction, the gentle words they'd shared – it had meant nothing to her. Less than nothing.

"You're right about one thing," he said quietly, his voice shaking. "I was stupid. Stupid to ever think someone like you could change."

Sarah yawned theatrically. "Boring! Marcus, baby, would you show our little donor to the door? I think his visiting hours are over."

As Marcus advanced with a predatory grin, Jun realized some wounds went deeper than any betrayal could cut.

"Let me spell it out for you, since you're too dense to get it," Sarah's voice dripped with contempt. "I only kept you around because your bone marrow matched mine. Now that I'm cured, you're about as useful as yesterday's garbage."

Jun staggered back as if physically struck. All this time... everything was a lie? His mind raced through every gentle touch, every soft word they'd shared in the hospital – all of it calculated, all of it fake.

"Oh man, the look on his face!" Marcus howled with laughter. "Like a kicked puppy finally realizing its owner never wanted it!"

Sarah perched on the edge of the bed, a cruel smile playing on her lips. "You should have seen him in the hospital, Marcus. Always so eager to please, like a trained monkey performing tricks."

"Speaking of unwanted animals," Marcus smirked, "tell me again about his parents? The ones who dumped him like trash?"

The words hit Jun like a physical blow. That secret – his deepest wound – had only been shared with Sarah during their most intimate moments.

"You told him about my parents?" Jun's voice was barely a whisper.

"Of course she did!" Marcus grinned. "It's hilarious! Maybe they had a crystal ball and saw what a pathetic excuse for a man you'd become. Smart of them to jump ship early!"

Something snapped inside Jun. With a roar of pure rage, he lunged at Marcus, his fist connecting with the rich boy's jaw. But his body betrayed him – still weak from the recent bone marrow donation, his muscles trembled with exhaustion.

Marcus touched his bleeding lip, eyes darkening. "Bad move, you orphan piece of shit." His fists became a brutal blur.

Too weak... can't defend myself... Jun's vision swam as blow after blow landed. He could hear Sarah laughing, recording everything on her phone.

"Like father like son – oh wait, you wouldn't know about that, would you?" Marcus taunted between punches. "Bet they took one look at you and ran!"

The last thing Jun heard before darkness claimed him was Sarah's bored voice: "The bumpkin is out cold. Better dump him with the others like himself." He felt himself being dragged, then lifted. Cold metal pressed against his back – a cage?

Hot breath and growls surrounded him as his blood dripped onto the ancient ring he always wore, his only link to his unknown past. Then, something extraordinary happened.

The savage dogs that had been circling him backed away, whimpering. They sensed what Sarah and Marcus couldn't – their intended prey had just become a predator.
