“You've got to be kidding me, right?” John's voice trembled with sudden terror and amazement, and his face contorted with a mix of emotions. His eyes widened, then narrowed, struggling to comprehend.

“No, I'm not kidding. Just as surprised as you are now, I was equally shocked when I discovered it,” Miss B replied, her voice tinged with seriousness and her nod affirming her words.

John leaned back, his eyes darting around as he absorbed the newfound information. It felt like something out of a fictional movie, yet the gravity of the situation etched on Miss B's face left no room for doubt; she was dead serious.

“I don’t understand,” John began, regaining control of his senses. “How did you uncover all of this?” he inquired, curiosity driving his words.

“Well, after my father's passing, I entered the picture. You see, while my father was alive, I wasn't deeply involved in the business, and some of the workers weren't even aware of my existence. He was a private person.” Miss B paused,
