"Mr. Walters," Henry said, reaching into the inside pocket of his jacket, "I want to show you something.

In the palm of his hand, he displayed a ring with a crescent moon design carved out of a black stone.

"Jimmy gave it to me before he died!"

Manley's expression changed drastically.

As he took the ring from Henry's hand, the old man couldn't hold back the tears streaming from both corners of his eyes.
