Justin was still engaged in the conversation with the tall businessman, Mr. Hawke, who seems to be boasting about what he had done and achieved.

He had shared more than he should have ideally shared in a conversation with someone he had just met. Justin could not tell if it was the confidence that is accustomed to being successful or the alcohol that made him talk that much. He had let his guard down. As Justin continued to ask question, Hawke provided answers to them in a manner that seems like bragging.

“You see, in this city, you might own assets and businesses but without the right power, that is nothing. With a single phone call, I have made several companies go out of business. That what you call a real power.”

Justin nodded but he was not actually intrigued by his show of arrogance, it was the mention of power that interested him.
