"Why not? It's not dangerous." He pestered.

"I think a walk will suffice."

"We walk all the time, nothing memorable about that."

She gasped.

"We're going skiing. Nothing to worry about." He said and she gulped, she had a choice to look back and cling on to her safety then risk her time together with him or face her fears.

He waited. "I'm not taking no for an answer."

Gwen caved in and her heart raced. She needed to. She recalled when he asked for a swim and she recoiled. She was apprehensive.

"I'll keep you safe, I promise."

She took his hand and he lead her to the docks. She grinded her teeth and sat behind him.

"Hang ten." He said mildly.

She shut her eyes while he revved the engines and she screamed as he drifted over the waves picking up speed, he laughed.

Taking sharp turns, she gazed upon the clear sea ahead and the island, there were so many people roving around. The smell of sea air, the heat on her skin and the feel of her arms around Zack holding for dear life. He
