"Why the hell did you two come after me? Do you know you can die of starvation here?" Erix asked the moment he landed on the roof.

As much as he wanted help getting off this planet, he didn't want to jeopardize the safety of his friends.

As long as his blood bank was filled to the brim, he was immune to long-term starvation, but that wasn't the case with his friends. Without food and water, they'd be vulnerable.

"Ah, have you forgotten that I'm also a demon? Such petty things cannot harm me. I can absorb energy from the bodies of beasts, so I'm good," Orah said, smiling wryly.
