"Kiss me" She begged.
Lume could feel the wind from his nostrils blowing on her temple but King Zakiza wanted her to long for it the more, so he went on, using his tongue to tickle her left ear. She could feel the aroma of his presence, his strong arms and his hairy chest. She wanted him closer and he wanted her to show it. That night was accompanied with a calm breeze and a cold outside. The night moon was glowing and the birds outside, perching on the window frames of the room of the King looked and chipping like they were being entertained by the two lovebirds inside."I want you" Lume held him tighter.
"I have a meeting to attend to tonight; council meetings" he said, holding his breath."Meeting must wait" she insisted. Just then there was a knock at the door and the person was the Chief Gaurd.
"Your presence is needed at the throne room my lord" spoke the man. The moment was ruined and Lume fell back on the bed and chuckled disappointedly. The King smiled and put back his robe. He then walked towards the door, opened it and held the Chief Gaurd by the neck, "Do you have a wife?"
"My lord" the Chief Gaurd appeared confused.
"I said, do you have a wife?" repeated the King. The Chief Gaurd nodded, not comprehending the reason behind the aggressive question."Good, when last did you make love to her?"
"My lord?" the Chief Gaurd was lost.
"What part of the question didn't you grasp?" The King let go of him and the Chief Guard bowed. Lume saw that and she was not pleased. She got off the bed and served herself a cup of wine, went back to reoccupy her space in the bed, glaring at the King as he ignored the confused Chief Guard and went about adjusting his cloth. Lume signaled the Chief Guard and he walked away. The King knew she asked him off and he asked, without looking at her, "You asked him to go? He should have respected my privacy"
"You treated him badly. You need to learn to manage your temper" she sipped her drink. The King sat dejectedly on the bed and sighed heavily. He folded his palms and lowered his head. Lume sighed too and continued, "You are victorious and you have earned yourself a lot of respect. Where I come from my people now live in fear of you. You should be proud yet you should be more careful. I know how hard it seems now, having the burden to lead these people on your shoulders and your territories keep expanding but it is your right, your birthright and you have carried the burden from the moment your father died in the hands of your step mother. Help me to help you Zakiza" She sipped again and laid down to sleep, covering herself with the heavy bed sheets. The King turned his head to look at her and with another sigh and with no more word stood up and walked out of the room to join the elders at the meeting in the Throne Room.

TWO YEARS AFTER
In the land of Dodo, the people of Dodo having been subjects to Samata; Akiza's mother were gathered at the palace to hear what the Dragon Queen had to tell them. They were certain that she was going to break the news of her quest to attack the Kingdom of Akozo, a land where she was once married to a King. First it was a rumor in the land of Dodo but not until this day when the Dragon Queen had to address them for the fourth time since she forcefully became their Queen. She climbed the platform and her son Akiza, in his shiny golden armour followed suit. He had been named the Queen's Sword Bearer. Samata addressed the large crowd, bringing to their knowledge her true identity and her quest to unite the lands of Akozo with that of Dodo. When asked how she planned to achieve that she pointed towards the ancient creature and the dragon growled loudly. Some of the people covered their eyes for the cry of the creature of magic could deafen anyone. Shortly after this Samata held the hand of her son and added, "He is heir to the throne of Akozo Kingdom which means the person seated on that throne at the moment is an usurper. People, you all have approved me your Queen even though you had to see the necessity in a bitter way. Nevertheless you are enjoying my leadership and you would want to see this kingdom advance and expand. It is time for us to take back what is ours and let the rightful heir to the throne of Akozo take his seat"
The people began to hail the Queen and she turned to her son and smiled broadly at him.

In the land of Akozo, King Zakiza, having married Lume the day before appeared moody. He alone was inside the Throne Room in the middle of the night until the Chief Guard approached him, in his full amour, holding onto his sheath with his right hand. He bowed before the King and wanted to know what the problem was. The King raised his head to look at his face and then relaxed his back on his seat, motioning him to a seat. The Chief Guard sat and waited. The King cleared his throat and began;
"You see, it is a good thing you are here, for if I am going to share my fears with anyone I would like to share them with you, you that has refused me my privacy. You may be annoying yet I can't deny the fact that you love me and your loyalty to me despite how I have treated you makes me proud of you"
"I am always with you my King no matter what happens" declared the Chief Guard.
"There is war coming. I smell it" announced the King.
Princess Damina of Dodo Kingdom was now in another land called Abumu where she ran off to during the invasion of the Witch, the mother to a man she had always loved. She hissed as she remained seated near the window of the bar she was inside with a bartender standing before her. She could not possibly call what happened two years back in her father's palace a war, no, that was not a war but a disgrace. She had never seen a dragon until that day and having heard that her father was dead she had imagined many ways Samata must have used the dragon to kill her father, the King of Dodo. The bartender was now impatient and he wanted to leave then she regained herself and asked for a cup of drink. She was offered one and it tasted strange. She sighed again, not sure if where she had been all these while was where she was meant to be. She had been hiding her identity the very day she set her feet in the land of Abumu because she knew that many who hated her father in the land of Abumu would
"Sex?" Princess Damina wasn't pleased with that request from the woman seated before her inside her hut. She got up and walked towards the small pot seated on fire and brought it down. She was preparing some eatable leafs and Aromo wondered if that was all she got. "I mean what I said; I saw handsome and tall young men as I toured the market of this land and I can tell I long to have one of those men slid himself in-between my thighs" Aromo was saying, while demonstrating with her hands. Princess Damina turned to her and angrily spoke to her."You Sisters of Magic in the land where we come from are good at that, one of the evil things you are good at. Now you want to have a man here just recently you arrived and tell me again, what it is your kind are good at doing to men when they have sex with them, trap them, take their will away from them and turn them into your slaves?""You speak as if your mother in-law isn't one of us?" said Aromo and those words got Damina irritated. She mov
In the land of Abumu, Aromo who had left the hut where she had induced Princess Damina to sleep headed straight to the same bar where Damina had been and was nearly molested by one of the bandits that terrorised the town of Abumu. when she had gotten there she took her seat and waited for a bit. She no longer had any money with her and this made her really sad. She had never thought for a second that a day would come when it would appear that Samata would be the reason why she looses everything. That day had come and she had to accept the reality, the reality which implied she was no longer worth a dime and that she would have to start life afresh, meanwhile one thing she was not ready to do was to adapt and identify with her current condition. she was not sure she was ready to become a beggar. She waited for the waiter and suddenly someone hit his hands infront of her and she slowly raised her head up to look at his face. She didn't know the person but that was the same ugly man that
In the land of Akozo, the ruins caused by the dragon were still fresh but already Samata was seated on the throne which stood in the throne room with no roof to cover it. There she sat until she began to hear the footsteps coming towards the hall. Standing by her sides were her most trusted soldiers whereas outside the dragon was flying about. She looked up and saw that the person coming in was her son Akiza. She sighed. It still disturbed her greatly whenever she set her eyes on her son, her slave whose will was no longer his but here. "Mother" he bent with one knee before her and rose only when he heard her ask him to. While he stood before her he said, "I am sorry that I failed to capture his wife and some of the palace officials who sneaked her out of this palace""You do not need to blame yourself son. We were at war and everything happened so fast. You did exactly what I told you to do and you led the army of Dodo well. They will always remember you for this" The mother then st
Queen Lume allowed herself some rest as the officials with her went into the inner forest to hunt for some meat. The Chief Guard stood beside her and waited for her. She raised her head to look at him, "You should rest your tired head too""I'm okay my Queen. I would prefer to stand" he said and adjusted his sword."That isn't my name. I am not "My Queen" any longer. You can call me by my name, meanwhile I insist that you sit and have rest" She adjusted herself and then the Chief Guard slowly sat beside her."You are unusually quite. Your wife...""She died, her corpse laid just beside the Dodo soldier that killed her. She might her died fighting the one that killed her" The Child Guard spoke and removed his face from her glare to avoid exposing his weakness and revealing his tears. The Queen was so sympathetic towards him and she begged him to take heart. "I know how you must feel. If I were you I would have left me behind to look for my wife but you stuck with me and your loyalty s
Begging was enough, besides Aromo was not ready to hurt Princess Damina and when she stood facing her where she knelt she asked her to be on her feet which she did and she walked closer to her and asked, "You know that your father wasn't good to me right?" Damina nodded with tears in her eyes."I heard you loved sex, you stopped?" asked Aromo but the Princess didn't answer, wondering how Aromo got to know about her sexual life. Could it be that Akiza was sharing what they had together with others behind her back? "Well" continued Aromo, "I would have you here with me but already you know that the plan is not to remain here but to take what belongs to these people from the man who took it from them. Here is Abumu and these people belong here" She moved outside and the Princess followed suit. They both stood at the entrance of the tent."It will soon get dark. I know you must be famished and so you need to eat" Aromo beckoned on one of the men and asked that Damina be served. As Damina
In the land of Akozo, Akiza walked to the dragon while it curled up outside the palace building. When he came to him he saw he was feeding on a human. He knew of his mother's arrest of all the men and women that surrendered during the battle in the palace and her plan to be feeding them to her creature. As he stood there a soldier walked up to him to inform him of his mother's demand for his presence. He walked to the throne room and met her pacing angrily. She stopped and began,"A troubling news I have received and it angers me as well; the people of Dodo are no longer with me and they have killed the officials in the palace of Dodo and equally attempted to kill the Prophetess. They have turned against me but they have made the worst mistake of their lives. How could they? have they not been told of what I did with my dragon in the palace of Dodo, do they think I can not do the same to them? I will ride to Dodo at first light and I will ride not on a horse or on a chariot but on my
The entry of Samata into the land of Dodo was a scary one for the people as they began to run Helter skelter. The dragon obeyed the command given him by Samata and began to rain down fire on the roofs of the homes of the people of Dodo. The people ran out of their burning houses and while they ran through the streets the fire from the breath of the dragon swept them off their feet and they began to burn, to scream and to die. The Priest remained in his house and waited in prayer. He knew there was nothing he could do. When he heard the heavy sounds outside his house was when he stepped out. He stepped out to meet Samata standing in his compound with her dragon growling loudly in the air. When he stepped outside he knelt before her and Samata walked up to him in her Queenly regalia. "My own people turned against me!!!" she was visibly angry and her eyes were red with fury."I didn't know of this my Queen. When I got the opportunity to talk sense into your subjects it was already too l
