BECOME A HERO IN ANOTHER WORLD ( Part 2 )

The sun had set since we arrived in this world, and it turned out that this world was indeed another world. The view of the night sky in this world is very beautiful, we can see a lot of stars and two very bright moons at night.

We are currently in a mansion that the kingdom has prepared for us to rest in. This mansion is quite large, this two-story building has 10 bedrooms, a living room, and a dining room.

We were also given five maids and one chef who was on duty to cater for all our needs in this mansion. Me, Mark, and Axel chose the top floor as our room; while Julia and Rikka chose a room on the first floor.

Right now I'm lying in my room, all the things that happened today make my head really dizzy. Even though I can't sleep, at least I can rest comfortably in this place.

*Sigh…* Mother! Did you know if your son disappeared...?

I don't think she'll care, after all it's been a year since I last saw her. Maybe my disappearance will make her happy…

I heard someone knocking on my door.

“Yoru… it's me! Am I bothering you?"

Huh? What did she do…? To be honest I was a little surprised to find out that the person behind the door was Julia.

I immediately got out of bed and opened the door for her.

"Ju-Julia... what's wrong?"

"There's something I want to talk to you about, so can I come in?"

I also let her into my room, and now I'm really nervous. How could I not, the woman who became an idol at school was currently in the same room as me.

Julia and I were just speechless after I let her in, this made the atmosphere very awkward. Until this moment, we are still silent and no one has opened a conversation yet

I finally got up the courage to talk to Julia, this finally broke the awkwardness between the two of us.

Julia finally sat down on my bed and I grabbed a chair for myself to sit on.

Why did she do this? I don't think she's ever done anything wrong to me.

I asked Julia to lift her head because I felt a little uneasy.

For Axel? I didn't expect Julia to come to me just to apologize on someone else's behalf. You are a very good person...

After hearing and seeing my reaction, Julia finally looks cheerful again.

Julia immediately stood up and immediately walked towards the door to return to her room, but she suddenly stopped when she was near the door.

"Yoru... you can also call me Lia like my other friends"

I still froze after hearing those words come out of his mouth. But Julia immediately came out of my room and immediately ran to return to her room.

After seeing Julia return to her room, I decided to lie back down on my bed.

The sun pierced my eyes and it woke me up. Apparently last night I fell asleep in this room, maybe it happened because I was tired.

Since I was already awake, I decided to go take a shower. After I finished showering, I put on the clothes that had been prepared in the closet.

I opened the closet door and saw a lot of clothes hanging there. Of the many clothes in the closet, I finally chose one that I thought was comfortable.

Wow... this outfit looks pretty good.

I guess this kingdom provides clothes that look old-fashioned like the ones in Kingdom-themed novels or manga I've read. But apparently not, the clothes provided by the kingdom are pretty cool and not out of date.

*Knock… knock…*

“Sir Hero, breakfast is ready...”

One of the maids knocked on my door and asked to go have breakfast.

"Oh, yeah... I'll be down soon."

I immediately went downstairs to enjoy breakfast with my classmates. After arriving in the dining room, I saw all my friends were already sitting at the dining table.

“Morning Yoru...”

Julia immediately greeted me after I entered the dining room.

"Julia... morning."

"Hmm... I already told you! You can call me Lia..."

Julia said that with a bit of anger.

I was a little confused after seeing Julia act like that, and finally I got up the courage to call her Lia.

“Morning, Li-Lia...”

Julia's smile grew on her face again after I said this.

And finally I sat down at the dining table to enjoy breakfast with all of them.

Various dishes are lined up neatly on the dining table. Our chef makes beef soup which is eaten with bread as the main course. The chef also made us a pudding made of milk and fruit for dessert.

We also ate the food that was prepared, we all really enjoyed the food made by the chef and didn't want to stop eating it. Especially when I eat the pudding, the sweetness of the milk and fruit blends in my mouth.

Woah... why this pudding can be so delicious? That question popped into my head after one bite of the pudding entered my mouth.

I don't know what milk is used in making this pudding, but it is clear that this pudding is very delicious.

After we finished eating, Zeris and a royal knight came into our mansion.

"Good morning Heroes!"

Zeris greeted us very friendly.

Because of Zeris' arrival, we all finally moved from the dining room to the living room to make it easier for us to talk. The waiter also served tea to us all when we were in the living room.

"Before we start, could you introduce yourself to them."

Zeris said this to the knight sitting next to him.

The knight immediately got up and introduced himself to all of us.

“My name is Xorra Harington, I am the Knight who will help the Hero Party defeat the Demon Race.”

The knight introduced himself very gallantly, and after learning his goal was to help us, I became even more confident that I could defeat the devil.

Even in my small heart, I'm still reluctant to fight the devil.

“Since you guys are acquainted, let's start the training. Heroes Axel, Julia and Rikka will come with me and the rest will go with Xorra”

Since we are all from another world, we will all be trained to be able to use magic and swords. This is done to make it easier for us to face the demon race later.

"Wait a minute, why did Yoru and Mark have to separate from us?"

Julia suddenly asked this to Zeris, and it seemed that it made Zeris a little surprised from her expression.

“Heroes Mark and Yoru will practice swordsmanship with Xorra, while the three of you will practice magic with me.”

Julia finally understood after hearing Zeris' explanation.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot..."

Zeris suddenly performed magic in front of us all, a magic circle was engraved in the air as Zeris did so.

And from the magic circle, came out a golden colored sword whose gleam was very beautiful. After the sword managed to come out completely, Zeris gave the sword to Mark.

“Hero Mark, I present to you. The sword of Brixton Samuel Harington, the First Hero."

The green colored mana/magic energy came out profusely after Mark gripped the sword.

Woah... That sword looks so beautiful when it emits green mana.

"The Witch Zeris…?"

Mark looked very confused after the sword let out a huge mana.

"Relax Hero Mark, the sword is only adjusting to you…"

Witch Zeris said with a smile on his face.

Mark finally looked calmer after Zeris explained everything.

After Mark got the hero's sword, we all finally prepared to go to the training ground in the palace area of the Star Kingdom.

While preparing, Axel suddenly hit my shoulder so hard that I was pushed a few steps. I don't know why, but he's been looking at me with an annoyed look ever since.

What did I do to make him act like that to me?

I started asking myself, and I finally realized it. Axel is always annoyed with me after Julia and I talk.

Is he jealous of me? Yes... I'm sure because of that.

"Axel, you don't have to worry. I have absolutely no feelings for her."

The people here looked confused after hearing me say this all of a sudden. But Axel didn't react at all and still looked annoyed at me.

I've said the thing that's been in my head, so I assume this matter is over. Although I don't know if this is a problem or not.

Finally we went to the training ground, we finally separated after arriving there. Julia, Rikka, Axel, and Zeris went to the training ground on the left, while I, Mark, and Xorra went to the right.

After arriving there, Xorra took out a weapon from the storage area in this training ground.

"Hero Yoru, this sword has been made especially for you."

The metal colored sword was handed by Xorra to me, and I gladly accepted this sword.

After I received this sword, the two of us finally started training.

Now that we have been in this world for a month, we are all getting familiar with the atmosphere of this Kingdom. I was also quite surprised to find out that this Kingdom actually uses the same moon count as the earth.

During this month, we just practiced and continued to practice to master the sword and magic techniques. And today, we plan to do some training in the dungeon. So far we've never fought a living being, so we're doing this to train our mentality.

Because basically demons are living beings, so we have to train our mentality to kill living things. We plan to go into the dungeon to subdue the monsters in there, and get hands-on combat experience.

In this practice, the five of us just went with Xorra. Zeris is currently receiving a special mission from King Erick, that's why he can't accompany us on this training.

After packing up, we finally departed from the Star Royal Palace for the dungeon “Zoo.” This dungeon was named like that not without reason, according to the adventurers who had entered there, the monsters that were there were all beast-type monsters.

From low-class monsters to floor bosses, all of them were animal-type monsters. The adventurers had also only conquered this dungeon four floors long and had already cleared all the monsters that were there.

So in this exercise, we will start conquering the Dungeon Zoo which will start from the fifth floor. The six of us set off for the dungeon using the horse carriage that the Kingdom had prepared.

After traveling for three hours, we finally arrived at the Dungeon Zoo. We immediately prepared all the equipment needed once we got there. When we arrived, all the adventurers who were there glanced at us.

And to be honest, it was enough to make me uncomfortable. But apart from that, I understand why they are giving us scornful eyes.

This dungeon is their livelihood, so they must think we came to take their source of income. Xorra, who understood the current situation, began to take a stand.

He took a few steps and stood right at the entrance of the Dungeon to give a few sentences to the adventurers who didn't seem to like our presence.

“Our party aims to conquer this Dungeon by order of King Erick Star IV, we are only given the task of defeating all the monsters that are in here. So we have no intention of taking anything in this Dungeon.”

After hearing this, many adventurers seemed relieved. But there are still some adventurers who don't like our presence. We ignored the rest of the adventurers who still looked in disbelief and went straight into the Dungeon to conquer it.
