BECOME A HERO IN ANOTHER WORLD ( Part 3 )

Our party walked into the Dungeon warily, even though the 1st through 4th floors had already been cleared, but Xorra ordered us to always be on guard.

In this Dungeon there is also a magic stone that illuminates the entire contents of the cave which is so dark, and this makes it very easy for us. Finally we all reached the fifth floor, and it was on this floor that our training began.

As we entered the fifth floor, several wolves started coming towards us. The wolves that confronted us were stone wolves, we know this because we have studied the various types of monsters that exist in this Dungeon.

“Everyone, take positions. We'll do it like we did in training."

Xorra immediately gave the signal for all of us to get ready.

In this formation, Mark and I took positions at the front, Axel and Rikka were in the middle, and Julia was at the back. Xorra didn't get into this position and was just sitting around evaluating our party.

The wolves in front of us started growling and showing their long sharp fangs. About six wolves ran over after they looked at us, it seemed they had already set us as their prey.

“Dark magic [Shadow Binding]”

Axel immediately released his magic and managed to stop the wolves who wanted to attack us.

Mark and I immediately slashed at the wolves when we saw that they couldn't move anymore. Mark managed to kill three wolves at once with one slash of his sword, unlike me who had to cut them one by one.

I've managed to kill two wolves with a slash of my sword, and just as I was about to kill the last wolf, the magic that bound it suddenly released causing the wolf to push me down until I fell.

Mark, who was near me, immediately slashed the wolf and made it breathless. Luckily Mark slashed at the wolf immediately, maybe I'll get hurt if he doesn't slash it down soon.

"Are you okay?"

Mark held out his hand to me to help me get back up.

"Yes, I am okay…"

Julia and Rikka also looked worried when I fell, but not Axel. I could see a slight smile on his face as I fell.

Aah... I understand now. He purposely canceled his magic on the last wolf just now, did he intend to harm me? I don't know, but it could happen.

Finally we continued our journey to the deepest part of this Dungeon. The deeper we walked, the more difficult the monsters we faced.

So far, we've come across fire monkeys, ground tortoises, ice tigers, and lightning goats. But we managed to overcome all these obstacles by working together.

After going through all that, our party finally reached the end of the fifth floor, and there was already a boss monster that seemed to be waiting for us. The wind-type serpent monster was looking at us with its sharp eyes.

We immediately formed a fighting stance and prepared to face the serpent monster. But unexpectedly, Axel casually approached the monster alone.

Huh? What is he doing? Is he stupid...

“Axel stop! Don't act rashly...”

Xorra tried to stop him, but Axel ignored Xorra's words and continued walking towards the snake monster.

“You don't need to intervene this time, Unique Skill [Psychokinesis]”

Axel immediately activated his unique skill and made rocks around to hoard the snake monster. Finally, the snake monster managed to be buried by rocks to bury his whole body.

"Look, I can defeat this monster alone.”

He said this with great confidence.

We all felt relieved at first after seeing Axel defeat the monster. But it only happened for a few seconds, suddenly the rocks that buried the snake monster began to shake and the snake monster managed to get out of the pile of rocks.

The serpent monster only got a few scratches after it managed to get out of the pile of rocks that Axel did. The snake looked very annoyed and he immediately let out a poisonous breath at us.

“Wind magic [ Tornado ]”

Rikka very quickly cast her wind magic and made the poisonous breath of the snake monster hit herself.

Woah... almost, good job Rikka!

I raised my thumb at her as a thank you, and Rikka returned it with a proud smile.

"Good job Rikka!"

Not only from me, Xorra also gave a good response to Rikka.

Xorra is seen pulling out his sword, it looks like he will intervene in the fight this time. And sure enough, Xorra immediately gave the signal to all of us.

“Mark, you will attack the monster from the front, Yoru… use your skills and attack the monster from behind. Julia! prepare your magic to help the two of them.”

As expected of a knight chief, he could think of tactics so quickly.

The three of us understood Xorra's signal and immediately prepared our attacks.

Mark and Xorra immediately attacked the serpent monster from the front, but both of their attacks were immediately blocked by the snake using its tail. I who saw this golden opportunity immediately used my unique skill and attacked the monster.

First I used this skill to move very fast and was able to reach the back of the snake without him noticing. After I got behind him, I immediately attacked the snake using the sword skill I had mastered.

Thanks to my slash and also the distraction from Mark and Xorra, we all managed to work together to make the snake hurt. The serpent monster that noticed my presence immediately looked at me with an extremely horrifying gaze.

The serpent monster opened its mouth very wide, and my body instantly froze upon seeing the sight. With its mouth wide open, the serpent monster tried to swallow me alive.

Suddenly I heard the sound of objects colliding very loudly. And apparently, Mark saved me by holding the snake with his sword.

“Yoru, quickly get out of here…!!”

Mark shouted at me and told me to get out of here immediately. But it was too late, the serpent monster had released its poisonous breath again.

Mark and I, who were so close to the monster couldn't do anything, and we both ended up being hit by the poisonous breath of the snake monster. After being hit by the poison, my body started to go numb and I couldn't feel anything.

Shit! It seemed like this poison had the effect of paralyzing one's body.

“Hey, stupid snake! Your opponent is me!! Light magic [Purgatory]”

“Wind magic [Wind Blast]”

With his magic, Axel burned the serpent monster to make it writhe in pain. After that, Rikka flew the snake using her wind magic until it crashed into the Dungeon wall.

Julia approached me and Mark who were paralyzed by poison, she immediately activated her holy magic to heal us.

"O God, show me your power and give them both full recovery [Full Recovery]"

Clenching her fists, Julia cast healing magic on both of us. White light began to envelop us and our bodies began to be able to move again.

After the white light disappeared, our bodies were completely healed.

Woah… I never thought this could actually be done.

“Are you two okay?”

Julia asked how we were doing with a very worried look.

"Thank you Lia, I'm getting better."

Mark and I immediately bounced back as soon as Julia finished healing our wounds. The two of us immediately prepared to face the serpent monster back.

"Yoru… let's finish this fight."

The two of us immediately ran with all our might towards the serpent monster. Even though the snake had received various attacks from Rikka and Axel, the monster remained standing despite the numerous wounds on its body.

"KIIIEEKKKKKK!!!"

The snake monster immediately screamed after seeing me and Mark running towards it very fast. The snake monster immediately cast its magic at the two of us, several magic circles formed around the snake's body and emitted slashes of wind from the magic circle.

“Don't worry about this, hurry up!!”

With her earth magic, Rikka managed to stop the slash of wind that was aiming at the two of us. Axel also helped us by activating his dark magic, the snake monster was successfully bound with his shadow binding skill.

“You two, finish this right away!”

Xorra shouted very loudly to motivate both of us.

After hearing those words, we both became even more excited. Finally the two of us activated the magic sword skill, and intended to end this fight right now.

“Take this! Sword Skill [Storm Slash]”

“Sword Skill [ Burning Slash ]”

With Mark's lightning slash as well as mine's fire slash, the serpent monster's head managed to escape from its body. And finally we both finished this fight.

I sat limply on the ground from exhaustion. Mark who was next to me also did the same.

Satisfied smiles appeared on our friends' faces after seeing that the serpent monster had not moved.

"You are all great, I was very impressed on your first try."

Xorra never stops giving us compliments.

Our party chose to return and not continue this conquest. Our party was already exhausted, so we didn't want to take the risk of endangering ourselves. And our party immediately returned to the Royal palace as soon as they cleared the fifth floor of this Dungeon.
