Chapter 10: Saving two beauties

In the murky darkness of the night, two guards stood vigil outside a forbidding cave.

After exchanging a nod, the guards turned to each other with smirks on their faces. "They've all fallen asleep; we can kill them easily now," one whispered to the other, who grinned in approval.

"Indeed," the latter responded, "and I have collected their weapons. It's fortuitous that we stumbled upon this cave."

"Agreed. It's time we acted before it's too late," the first guard declared, drawing a handkerchief from his pocket.

His accomplice unsheathed a menacing blade, and together they crept into the cavernous depths.

Silently, they approached a sleeping guard, and the one with the handkerchief swiftly clamped it over his mouth to stifle any cries.

Meanwhile, the other plunged his knife repeatedly into the man's throat until he lay still. They repeated this ghastly process on another unsuspecting guard, never once alerting the others.

As they finally arrived at the inner cave where the princess and her maid slumbered, the guard with the knife spoke up, "Don't you think it's a waste to kill these beauties?"

His companion concurred with a lascivious smirk, "Yeah, let's have some fun with those busty tits, hehe."

Elvis, detected the unmistakable signals of bloodlust and sexual desire.

Roused from his slumber by the system's warning, he watched in horror as the two guards brutally dispatched their fellow guards.

He remained hesitant to intervene, for he did not wish to expose himself unnecessarily. But when the two lustful fiends advanced towards the sleeping women, he knew he could remain silent no longer.

As they approached, each seizing one of the young women, the men placed their blade and sword to their throats, muffling their cries.

The princess and her maid awoke with jolts of terror, their faces twisted with shock and fear. "Hush now, and comply," a guard commanded, while his comrade added, "Indeed, if you cooperate, we may offer you a swift, painless death." The guards guffawed in unison, amused by their own cruelty.

Elvis, who had been observing this appalling spectacle, grew increasingly agitated by their barbaric behavior.

Summoning his courage, he stood up and let out a ferocious roar, shaking the very foundations of the room. "Roaaaaargh!" he bellowed, his voice echoing through the cave.

The guards were taken aback by this sudden turn of events, their faces contorting with terror.

Even the princess and her maid, already frightened beyond measure, paled at the sight of the enormous creature before them. "Aren't dragons supposed to be extinct?" they wondered in silent disbelief.

One of the guards, his bravery bolstered by fear and adrenaline, pointed his sword at the dragon and shouted, "Get lost, you oversized lizard!" In response, the dragon unleashed a torrent of scorching flames, engulfing the hapless guard in a searing inferno.

The man's screams of agony were silenced as his body was consumed by the inferno, leaving behind nothing but a charred, twisted mass of flesh.

The other guard, now visibly trembling with terror, lost control of his bladder, wetting himself in fright.

With a powerful sweep of his tail, Elvis sent the smoldering guard hurtling across the room like a human projectile, his body colliding with the wall with a sickening thud.

The impact caused him to explode in a shower of gore and viscera, covering the room in a sickly spray of blood and entrails.

The scene was nothing short of gruesome, leaving the princess and her maid reeling in horror at the brutality they had just witnessed.

The other sentry was drenched in the crimson blood of his now deceased malevolent partner, and as the horrid scene unfolded before his very eyes, he let out a bone-chilling scream.

His heart dropped as he struggled to come to terms with the sudden and unexpected turn of events.

He quivered as if he had seen a ghost, but what lay before him was much more terrifying than any apparition he could have conjured in his mind.

"Shameless wretch attempting to provoke me; I have nothing but contempt for such losers," Elvis muttered under his breath, after making short work of the first guard.

The second sentry hastily dropped his weapon in a show of surrender, his mind consumed by one persistent question: "How did we miss the presence of this dragon all this time?"

"Lord dragon, I beg for your mercy; I am not to blame for this, it was the decree of the northern human king," the sentry pleaded, falling to his knees.

The princess and her attendant were both taken aback by the swift retribution meted out to the hapless guards, but their surprise quickly turned to anger when the sentry confessed to hailing from the northern kingdom.

Elvis paid no heed to the guard's pleas, but since he had come clean and submitted to his fate, he decided to grant him a swift and painless death.

[Eyes of Medusa]

With his steely gaze locked onto the sentry's, Elvis unleashed his formidable power, his eyes turning a menacing shade of red.

The hapless sentry, gazing upon the dragon's powerful gaze, began to slowly petrify until he was completely solidified.

A blood-curdling scream escaped the sentry's lips as he was transformed into a statue of stone, before Elvis used his mighty tail to shatter the lifeless form into countless pieces.

Elvis had taken a life, and yet he remained unmoved, devoid of any emotion. "Alas," he sighed, "I am truly not human again."

The princess and her maid recoiled at the sight of the dragon's deadly deed, their faces drained of color. They understood all too well that now, having slain the guards, the beast may well turn its attention to them.

In the next moment, Elvis cast his gaze upon the trembling women before him, who stared back at him in terror. "What am I to do with them?" he mused, "It's impossible to communicate with them. I shall ignore them; any attempt to approach them will only terrify them further. I miss Dryad already." With that, Elvis retreated deeper into the cave, seeking refuge from the company of humans.

The princess and her maid were bewildered. A beast, a dragon no less, had come to their aid. The thought lingered in their minds as they watched Elvis sleep.

Outside, the night was still dark, prompting the women to nod in silent agreement. They gathered their sleeping bags and drew closer to where Elvis slumbered, though not too close. They were wise enough to realize that the dragon had spared them and could have just as easily taken their lives.

Lying awake, their minds restless, they noticed a green pendant adorning the dragon's neck. The allure of two beautiful women watching him stirred within him, and he yearned to be human once more.

"If only I were human right now," he sighed, and the women recoiled at the sound of his voice, fear etched upon their faces.
